Once when working in the marketing department of a UK company, we ordered 40,000 scratch cards which were for taking to Exhibitions and Trade Shows. The idea was that people would put their contact details on the back to claim the scratch card prize they had won. We could then market to these people as potential new customers.
The only problem was that even with all the checking and double checking that had been done at the 'proofing' stage of these cards, no one noticed that the contact details requested didn't ask for the phone number!
As the project was my responsibility, I ordered a custom made rubber stamp with a telephone symbol and a dotted line and hand stamped all 40,000 of them, adding the telephone contact details line in time for the first trade show! Now that really was tedious!

No jokes... I was packing fudge in a factory. It came along a conveyor belt and I would have to pick up the pieces and put them into boxes. It was for eight hours a day. Bad pay and very very tedious. I managed to get another job so that was me out.

It would have been okay I think if I had got on with the people who worked there and liked the overplayed music on the radio station; which was meant to boost moral big_smile ..not for me!

Creating a spreadsheet from calls taken at the call center where I was working.  My office did not want to pay for the add-on in the software which would track the calls automatically, so I had to count them by hand for 15 departments -each day, each month, and each year. SO STUPID!!! Glad I don't work there anymore.  And the funny part is they keep calling me asking me how I did it. Denied!! Ha Ha!

Painting a house inside and out over the summer a few years ago. Especially the inside in the corners, cracks and crevices.

When I was a kid I worked in a catering hall.  I used to set the floor plans for the weddings in advance of the party as one of my jobs.  When you set up the room you have to fold the napkins in a way that looks like a butterfly fan.  I had a wedding for over 700 people once.  I spent hours folding napkins alone in a giant empty catering hall every weekend.  I hated that part of the job.  I couldn't wait for the wedding's to start.

I was working for this company that converts tifs into web searchable content. These were poorly printed regulatory documents used in construction and our conversion program had difficulty distinguishing inches (") from feet ('). As the content manager, I had to go through the two thousand plus pages and verify or change each and every instance.
