Why are most military men Republicans?
I always find it bizarre how many military men are avid Republicans–fervently against government spending–despite the fact that they themselves are paid by the government. I'm just curious, why is this an exception?
To protect and serve. They deserve their salary more than any I can think of. I think the reason they are more conservative is the military has taught them morals, dedication, strength, and good sense.
They are Republicans because the GOP politicians tell the military everything it wants to hear. Soldiers are suckers for good speeches.
