I'm sorry I haven't answered this question for so long. From what i've seen using Safari it seems a lot of companies have become very Mac-friendly and what you see on a PC is usually the same as on a Mac.
I've had overall very good experiences with GoDaddy. There have been a few times when various hiccups or glitches cooked my sites (mostly my own fault), but I had paid $15 a month for unlimited hosting with backup, so I was able to restore my sites to how they looked on a previous day. $15 a month may seem steep at first but you can pile several domain names onto the same hosting package. And backing up to a saved point is invaluable.
The main thing you will need to quickly get your files to your hosting company will be a Mac FTP program. I hear that CyberDuck is a free and open source FTP program that should work for you. http://cyberduck.ch/
Good luck with your websites.
