This depends on how far the business has failed. If there is a drop down in subscriber numbers, you could ask the leaving subscribers why they leave.
If the business is publishing books, it might not have published titles of interest to a greater audience.
As you see, there could be several reasons of failure. Thus you need to investigate the reasons for failure first. Second find out if there are Products to be published soon and what kind these Products are. Are they of interest for a certain Audience.
How about Marketing? Has the Business failed because they didn't really had a good Marketing Plan in place.
So here is a small Checklist:
- Find the reasons of failure
- Analyse new items to be published if they are more likely to succeed
- Review the Marketing and Sales Activities and adjust them if needed.
