Is it better for beginners to start afiiliate marketing with 1 product or more products?
i would start with a few different products, in different niches, never bet on one horse
if one product or niche isn't working that well, you still have the others who may convert well, so you still make money

Hi Jasperneo
I would say that if you are using paid advertising to drive traffic to a landing page such as ppc or ppv that one product with a variation on keyword combinations is better at first. If article marketing, then why not go after several different products and see which one provides the best conversions.
I try to focus on one product....at a time. I pick one product in a micro niche, get the sales funnel set up, build the link wheel, and then start a backlink schedule going....then move on to the next product/niche.
Two at a time brotha, that is the key.
Focus your time and energy on two projects at a time to get the most out of them. If you start going from project to project, niche to niche, you'll find yourself unsatisfied and really not giving it all you have. The key is driving traffic to your landing pages and websites, this means having great SEO backlinks or setting up relationships with bloggers who are in the same niche you're targeting.
The truth is this. No traffic=No Leads=No Sales! You can have the sickest landing page ever but if you don't have traffic then so what?
Read this hub I just posted, great insight and tips/tricks to use.

Yeah I agree its better to start with at least two products. You might not get good conversion for all products. Test them and promote the products which you feel are doing good. Save time and effort. If you want to see which are best converting products and want to make more money. You should certainly go for more than one product at a time.
It was hard lesson learned from my past experience when I was promoting a relationship niche product I got just 2 sales for over 800 hops.
Then I tried 3 products at a time. I always got 2-3 sales per 100 hops.
So if you know from the starting you won't lose much time finding the right kind of product for you.

Hi!
I think it's better to start to promote one product. In other ways you could be easily distracted and things that you need most are focus and persistence.

Hi, jasperneo. From my personal experience I can say that it is better to choose 1-2 affiliate programs from one sphere. It would be much easier to promote simular things. For example, I have been working for quite a long time with affiliate programs in financial sector, such programs are rather profitable. Sometimes I explain in my articles what kind of programs to choose and how to start.

I understand the rationale for removing amazon capsules. I'm very careful not to include amazon capsules unless they are 100% relevant, and I can provide a personal opinion. I rarely do more than one per hub.HP is not only snipping amazon capsules on hubs for niche sites, but also just to have a...

I do love to bake, and I create some crazy delicious cookies however I'm not sure I would be cut out for the baking industry. My family loves my baking, but I'm not sure I would be good enough for complete...
