You can make money seriously...but making serious money takes practical education, some experience from the online college of hard knocks,  patience and perseverance.  I joined a community of online marketers that has helped me tremendously and would recommend that anyone who is interested in online marketing find such a group.

Yep, some people earn enough to live on using Amazon associates and Google Adsense. It will take time and effort but it is possible.

Absolutely! You don't need to invest money to make money online because there are many free platforms such as Hubpages and blogger, but you do need to invest serious amounts of time and effort, as well as be patient and consistent.

If you committed to writing 3 quality hubs and 3 good blog posts per week, as well as learn keyword research and SEO, you could be making a good income by this time next year.

If you don't have any knowledge about how online industry (SEO, IM) works it will take couple of weeks/months to get started depends on how much time and effort you want to invest. Do it for about 8 hours per day, 7 days a week and after a month and couple of mayor errors you'll have an idea how much it takes to make "serious money" online wink)
No need to invest any money. Your life will be enough wink

Yes, with lots of hard work...and it gets harder with many people outsourcing the work and using expensive automated tools - but it is doable. Not to mention the big SEO word - I got so much different and contradicting advice on how to do this in the beginning, it was like information overload.
I will give you good advice and save you a lot of time(hopefully) - Always have good quality content that is useful( some people don't and still rank well - but seriously - have good content) and get your affiliate link out there - everywhere: Friends, family, pets...have them link to your site from their social networks. Find backlinks to your site - in the end, this is what it mostly boils down to - backlinks. If only I knew that a couple of years back!

To make serious money $10,000 per month online, requires serious investing and experience. As in buying traffic to sell your service/product. If your looking to make money online without paying a cent, then i say hubpages for the win ;-) but it will take serious time before you see that happen and lots of typed content submission on your part utilizing services similar to hubpages.

Yes, the money you invest should be in things like having a website, and advertisements (as long as you know what you're doing)

you should be more clear on how you'd like to make money online. I know this question was asked 6 months ago.

yes, through arbitrage. but considering that the market will eventually reach it's equilibrium. the opportunity won't last long. you need to be quick, and you'll need a lot of fresh information.
Most of the time, high returns needs higher investments. it goes with the rule of the thumb "the greater the risk, the greater the return."

There are many ways to make money for free online. A good start would be to find a niche that you have some knowledge and feel comfortable writing about. Writing hubpages, squidoo pages, blog posts would be a great start. Like others said you'll need to invest quite a bit of time and effort, it's not going to come easy.

I personally work with Get Paid To sites and marketing my referral links. I haven't been doing it for long but it's slowly and steadily getting better each day. I learned a lot in this short period of time about SEO, keyword research, and backlink building. I found some great free tools to help with this.

Write good articles/pages and you will see everything get better and the money flowing in. If you need any help feel free to contact me, check out my hubpage, or my blog. Good luck to you.

If you are looking for a real job to earn a living.  Here is one that really works and Its not hard work, nor is it going to make you a millionaire overnight.
All you do is sign up for an 1 and get a referral link and start posting your link everywhere.  When someone else signs up an offer under you your account gets credited $20.00 and that's it.  Nothing else to do.  I have post a few ads on the internet and I get paid everyday.  $20.00 per referral and they are starting to add up.  This is not a scam! It's like building a house by yourself - one brick at a time but, when you finish you have got a home that no one can knock down. It will be a strong flow of cash coming into your wallet )paypal daily.

The only way I have made any money online and I mean making a living and paying the mortgage and paying the bills and going on holiday, more than just getting enough money to buy a meal at a restaurant once a year, take a product, any product you might buy in a shop, build a niche website selling the product and then sell the product online, dropship the product and make money. It works, I have been doing it since 1997.
