Online shopping is great for when you just want to click and ship something quickly, batteries, light bulbs, dog food, headphones, cell phones etc...anything really..
However, on some things like clothing and shoes or anything that really needs to be tried on I prefer to walk in and handle it that way to avoid returns and shipping process, so it depends.
Like luisj305, I shop for anything that needs trying on or testing in-store--clothes, shoes, make-up, perfume etc. I buy books and music mostly online.
It just depends on what catches my eye. If it's significantly cheaper online I'll snag it there but if I can find it local (like a book at a used book store for instance) I'll do my best to do that.

I believe that each of us have reasons why we prefer to travel alone or in a group. I want to hear your opinions.
