I was thinking of doing this. Is anyone using a HubPage as their online resume? If so, can you share the examples? Thanks.

Not really a resume but I'm using this for samples of my writing (until I get out a blog that is). I've gained one or two clients after posting the URL in my proposal. But that means I have to careful in what I write here in hubpages smile.

Unless you're in the beer business, I don't think you want prospective employers coming here to see what "molsenale" has written. smile

LMAO! No, seriously. Unless you're going to post your resume and ONLY your resume, I wouldn't do it here. Go and get a free Wordpress or Blogger site and do it there. That way, you have control over everything -- including whether ads are shown or not.

Yes, I thought so too. Checking into that right now in fact. Seems someone has already regsitered my real name .com. Thought I might try the whole web 2.0 thing here.

    Just found http://www.visualcv.com/ seems interesting.

    Hi emievil,

Looks good! Hope you get your blogs going soon too. That free online resume site I mentioned http://www.visualcv.com/ looks pretty good too. You might want to check it out.

I'm still thinking of the best use for HubPages in the overall social media mix...

Thought it might be good for online resume until I found the other thing and of course there's http://www.linkedin.com/ too.

    Keep writing
