I know exactly whay you mean - I had all these plans to write loads of Hubs when I joined but a day job, traveling and a busy life make it really difficult!  The worst thing is when I get a free hour or two my creativity has dried up!

I'd much rather be writing than working, but if I wasn't working I'd probably be too stressed to write!

boy do I know what that is.

I may not work, but I have so many things to do.
First I babysit my almost 2 month old brother for about 8 hours most weekdays. That's like a full job in itself. And even if not, typing while holding a child is difficult so anytime he needs feeding, changing, burping, or just refuses to sleep in anything other than my arms, it means I can't just sneak off to the comp and hubwrite.

Then my mom comes home and she goes to take care of him while I get dinner ready, do dishes, take out the trash, watch the baby again while my mom does laundry or talks on the phone......

On top of that my fiance loves to play games with me and I don't want to tell him "no, I gotta do stuff online" because he works hard and I know he wants to spend time with me - even if it's just online time- when he gets home.

And of course I have hubs to do, textbroker articles to write, do promotion, keyword research, topic research, etc...

And that's while I'm on vacation. When I go back to college I'll also have homework and tests and obviously classes....

So much to do, so little time.

Oh and there's my dad who likes to have 1-2 hour long conversations...Time I just don't have.

yea, that's the struggle for me.  I always ask myself, "how do I make the most of my time on hubpages?"  still trying to figure it out.

I make daily lists of things I have to do and I cross off everything I manage at the end of the day - those items that I don't get moved across to the next day!

I sit here at 5am reading this and responding because it's seems to be the only time of the day  I have.  I was laid off from my job about a year ago, and now find myself busier than ever.  I volunteer more, get the kids off to school, deal with homework and household chores, coach sports, run our Husky Farm, and on and on!  And God Bless my wife for taking on extra hours at work to help make ends meet!  I enjoy doing this, as well as creating and maintaining websites.  I always try to remember the message from Zig Ziglar..."If you're tough on yourself and discipline yourself, life will ultimately get easier!"
