I'm a commercial realtor. I work specifically in the industrial commercial arena i.e. warehouses.
I'd like to find someone that would write for me using my hub account on the following topics:
- Warehouse Designs: i.e. small with flex office, medium size for various industrial use, large for distribution, super large with specialized automated packing / loading equipment - who uses what. Example floor plans included if possible.
- Warehouse Site Location: Where to best locate a warehouse i.e. near intermodal hubs, large freeways, airports, harbors, near a well-trained workforce, etc.
Also, any other warehouse information that you think might be useful.
Please let me know if you're interested & show me some of your work. I like the following:
- no spelling mistakes
- no grammatical errors
- Command of the English language
- Short, punchy articles instead of long drawn-out stories.
- Good use of images throughout
Also, let me know how much you would charge for the complete job. Payment can be handled through www.elance.com.
Please do not quote me a "price per word" - that will not work for me. Tks!
There are a few people here who write for up front payment, but why would they write an article for you for $20 when they can write the same article for themselves and get $200 for it in residual income?
There are lots of writing sites out there who allow you to pay per piece. On sites like Fiverr you can find people willing to write up to 800 words for $5.
Thanks... I'll have a look at Fiverr
Don't think Fiverr will work for me, I need a professional job done. Tks!
You'd be surprised. I've had a couple of articles written there for my websites and found them to be very well written with no dupe or spun content and excellent English skills.
I know a lot of people who write on spec like that. I'm not currently in a position to do something like that, but a group I sometimes work with on exactly that kind of ghostwriting is http://writingbycyndi.com/. If you do use them, please tell Cyndi that Joe P sent you.
Ok. Here is my quote.
25$ per 500 words uniquely written SEO friendly articles on any niche.

Take SunSeven's offer. You can't go wrong with 10 million views. Wow!
Here's my sample. Dunno if its what you want but worth a go I reckon.
There's a lot of nonsense talked about warehouses. Basically, there are four types. Small, medium, big, and bigger. All the same shape though - square or squarish. Don't use a triangle, unless you can get into tight corners. Or you're storing something triangular in shape such as cheese. Whatever.
Medium size is my favourite because it says "I'm not the tiddliest, but I'm not so big like a mega corporation".
And that's where I'd buy my cheese from.
If this is good enough then we can talk rates. I tend to charge more for stuff I know something about. Strictly speaking this would be my first commission.

OK, so I hear about Flipboard and see some saying they get some traffic from it, so I sign up. I make a magazine, and put two hubs in it. I have no idea if I'm doing it right, but one of those hubs has an...

Not sure where such a request should go, but I think this is the best place to post it. Hope it does not violate HP policies - if it does, just delete it, please English is not my native language, but I work for...

What is more fun? Writing dozens of articles for a niche or writing all sorts of articles from holidays to teeth whitening? And leave aside the fun, what about the money - which has more potential? What would you rather...

I know it sounds cliche, but when I choose to write fiction, not necessarily my views, I worry that I'll be judged. It is fiction, but does anyone else struggle with this?

How do you set a fee for a freelance project? I've been working through Elance but have no idea what kind of fees to set in my proposals. How do you determine what to charge, and what are some average prices? I don't...
