I am interested in finding a data entry job online. I have come across ezeejob.net. Is it a scam?
Also if you know a credible data entry gig that is free to join please help! Did i say free to join?... Let me check...oh yes did!:-D
It might require a little work, but you will find your answer here:

Looks like a scam site to me. I suggest you go find another one.
I recommend oDesk. It is free to join, legitimate, and offers all kinds of employment opportunities (contract), including data entry.
Good luck to you!
I would like to thank all of you who have offered your input so far. Thank your for helping a fellow hubber.
there are certain ways on how you could rid out of that scammed, first, is to let yourself know the certain aspects why it happens and avoid the person who makes you feel that way, and second, since it is already done you dont have a choice but to accept it and be careful next time..
There are many adverts saying they pay for typing, but they are mostly asking for money so they can direct you to an affiliate program. Affiliate program are mainly free and you can write articles, post banners, videos with affiliate links directing people to the main web page, if they make a purchase you earn money.
I agree with businesstrader. Anything that sounds too good to be true should immediately ring alarm bells.
