200,000 HITS IN 106 HUBS (2 YEARS)

Thank you dear Lord, our Saviour and Redeemer who leads us each day into salvation by way of faith in Him. We who trust in You will not stumble or falter for you have provided the Holy Spirit as Counsellor and Guide to lead us.

My grateful thanks to God for guiding me in reaching the 200,000 mark in HubPages. I started writing for HubPages on May 9, 2008. I was approached by my brother but I declined at first. After 3 days of deliberation, I decided to try writing. I am thankful I have accepted the challenge and have not looked back since.

I started writing for HubPages on May 9, 2008. On July 29, 2008, my hubs hit 1,000 and I thanked God for the success. My hub, "42 HUBS VIEWED 10,000 TIMES IN 10 MONTHS" was published on March 30, 2009. The next hub, "100,000 VIEWED HUBPAGES" was published on April 12, 2010.

On November 16, 2010, my hubs hit the 200,000 mark. Praise our wonderful God who listens to our prayers, it took 7 months and 4 days to bridge the 100,000 hits. Praise the Lord God for helping me in my ministry.

HubPages introduced Twitter and Facebook to us and it was about a year later that I joined Twitter on May 20, 2009, and now I have 1561 followers.

I have to learn another way of writing for Twitter limits the writer to 140 characters. I am thankful that Twitter drives up more traffic to my hubs.

After having some success with Twitter, I was confident enough to try Facebook and started an account on January 13, 2010. Since then, I have reached the maximum of 5,000 friends, and started the 2nd account which now has 838 friends.

I had no idea that such a thing as Google Page Rank existed and was extremely elated when I found out it was true. So I checked the 24 hubs I wrote for the month, and ended writing a new hub because Google had 7 of my hubs listed on page 1 of its ranking system. I read somewhere that if your hub was not listed under pages 1-3, you might as well forget about the rating..

I am a servant of God and started Hubpages so that I can reach out to those who want to know the Bible truth. All glory to our loving and merciful God. May God continue to bring in the readers who will benefit from reading the truth.

Some reasons for Liking HubPages

These are my personal reasons and fellow hubbers will most probably ignore this. However, I hope to attract new hubbers.

• I like HubPages because I receive instant comments the hub is published. Not all hubbers agree with what I write and can be very critical and sometimes nasty. The world is full of different types of people, intelligent, dull, spiritual, wicked, loving and wicked people. I must learn to be diplomatic in my comments.
• You write at your own speed and no one bothers you.
• You may publish 30 articles a week or none at all.
• You are your own boss. Freedom to rest between writing from morning to night and publish one hub or prolong your writing for a week. You can write and stop for a long period.
• Your account is not wiped out because you cease writing. You can resume your writing when you feel like it. No boss to look over your shoulder, and no teacher to correct you either. You will know whether you made the mark or not after the hub is published. The readers are the decision makers. You either make it or break it.
• You get a detailed print out of your work, number of your mark score, personal score, comments, etc.
• There are lots of other reasons why you would like to join and they are too numerous to comment on.
• You can choose the time you wish to start writing or end the session. Start at noon and end up at midnight, or whatever time suits you..
  

My first hub was called "Prophecy: Isaiah 4:1 Seven Women and One Man". I was very intrigued with the title when I heard it as a young person and decided to write a hub on it. Bible Prophecy is a fascinating subject and I am in awe and very glad that the prophecy is fulfilled.

PROPHECY - Isaiah 4:1

"And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, "We will eat our own bread and wear our own apparel Only let us be called by thy name To take away our reproach."

Explanation

The day (future to Isaiah's prophecy c. 740 B.C.) will come when all the women (church, bride to be of Christ) will take hold (seize, gain possession, win, captivate charm, conduct, adopt, interpret, to operate) of one man (Jesus Christ) saying, "We will eat our own bread (own Manna, own words of life, own doctrine) and wear our own apparel (own garments of salvation or robe of righteousness); only let us be called by thy name (Jesus, Christian) to take away our reproach (shame, scorn, disgrace).

The prophesy foretells the time when all the churches will call themselves Christians in name only because they will preach their own doctrines and explain their own interpretation of righteousness ignoring the commandments of God. They believe that in calling themselves Christians, it will take away their shame.

I chose to write about God's Food and Cancer because my family has the cancer gene. Four members of the family suffered from four different types of cancer, breast, ovarian, prostate and colorectal cancer. The last two members have survived about five years. Other cousins, aunts and uncles succumbed to the disease.

It is extremely important for me to know reaction from readers, whether they have any impact on what they read. God has moved some of the readers, especially fellow hubbers, and I quote their reactions. My main object in joining is to provide the Biblical truths. Whether the recipients change or not, it is their prerogative, and my job is accomplished. Glad to report, there have been some changes.

Two churches have changed their worship to the Sabbath Day. Many have also stopped celebrating pagan festivals, an Atheist berates his fellow skeptics and a church minister is linking my hub to his own .. A Hebrew writer and business owner is ecstatic over the hubs and bookmarking them. Last but not least of all, I quoted a young 14 year old searching for information for her school assignment. Thank the Lord God for a most rewarding experience in writing for Hub Pages.

May God open the hearts of readers to accept the truth for Jesus is THE ONLY WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE. All glory to God!

I have chosen 7 from over 2000 comments which I find reflects the changes to their thoughts. Sometimes to comment or debate the comments takes up more time than In writing the hubs. Some comments are off the mark for they do not get the essence of the subjects and go off the tangent.

Good Hub and right on target. The deadly doctrine of eternal security is false and preached by most "ordained" ministers in the U.S. to a Bible illiterate nation. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find a structured church still teaching the true doctrine of Christ. People don't want to hear it and preachers don't want to preach it. The congregations want to continue in their sins and still believe they're Heaven-bound. Preachers want to keep their jobs.

Carrie Bradshaw became a Sabbath keeper after debating on the Sabbath for an extensive period. Two churches in her area also reverted to keeping the Sabbath. Praise the Lord. Only God can change people.

3. WHY CHRISTIANS CELEBRATE PAGAN CHRISTMAS

I just got a major education! I feel bad in saying I never knew any of this, but like many, I got caught up in the Christmas thing myself. Society generally has a major attitude when you point out stuff like this because nobody really wants to buck the system. A system, by the way, which has been commercially oriented since somebody figured that money could be made from those who rush to spend their last dollar and go into huge debt. Essentially, people don't want to believe they've been suckerpunched by the system.

They celebrate it because the "churches" promote it instead of teaching the truth. In fact most church leaders have no idea about the unGodly roots of xmas. What ever happened to "not mixing the Holy with the profane"? Same thing that happened to so many other scriptural truths. They are not conducive to "church growth".

xmas is of cathiloc origin and was not taught in Christian churches until a couple hundred years ago.

You know when I saw this my spirit leapted. On Shavuot, Pentecost, I make 7 species baskets and give to widows and ministers. Ministers who have never received one of these are astounded. You have done an excellent job on this subject of the wheat, more detailed than I have ever seen. I'm going to bookmark every one of them. I don't understand why People think abortions is right. I am 14 years old and I'm doing a paper over forced abortions in china. I think its so sad to see people advertise abortions-and allow abortions in countries. i live in America... we allow it. my parents are fostering a baby boy- Daniel. and i call him my brother. he is 9 months now. my parents are planning on adopting him. 7. AVOCADO CURES PROSTATE CANCER, ORAL CANCER AND HELPS DIABETES

Enron, skeptik and others,
I am an atheist however I do not think that Enrons belief should be rediculed. Even though I do agree with what Skeptik says re God, as an atheist one must show respect to those who have other beliefs.
Main reason for nmy comments are some logical errors from Skeptik. Just because Enron believes that God created AQvocados and asparagus (another veg with cancer healing properties, does NOT make avacado useless. We know that avocado and other vegs have been evolving over an extremely long period, before the birth of the God of the sons of Abraham, and nature does contain cures for many many deceases. So, u all atheists who are offended by Enron's belives on God, pl do not miss out the important part, that there are health foods and some of them can at least help if not cure even serious deceases like some forms of cancer.

To conclude this hub, I would very much like the very fractured church of Jesus ChrIst to get back to the basics of ONLY ONE TRUE CHURCH of JESUS CHRIST. You will notice in the hub "40,965 DENOMINATIONS FOLLOW JESUS", there must be also 40,965 different types of churches in the world. It is absolutely WRONG! Has Jesus Christ that many doctrines and characteristics? Definitely Not! There must be that many opinionated people that started the different denominations .

Before the Communists took over China, the True Jesus Church, an indigenous Christian church (non denomination)was the third largest Christian church in China, according to Encyclopedia Britannica, 1973. Since then, it remains silent and no information has leaked out about the church. It looks dead to the outside world. It is the same with the members of the church in the outside world. They fear criticism from the church that speaking out is bad or evil. It is a sad truth. They are completely immobilized. They see not, hear not and speak not! They think that this is what God wants them to do! Be blind, dumb and mute! Is this how they are going to preach to the world? The spirit of communism has spread its net over the church in the universe. May they break the veil of silence over the whole congregation! May God have mercy on the church in China and in the free world! God be blessed!

May God help them to see the error of their ways. Statistics in this study show that the public are more concerned with their physical wellbeing than with spiritual health. We are coming to the end before Jesus returns soon. United we stand, divided we fall! May the Lord God help us! Pray for God's forgiveness for we have strayed very far from God.
