He wrote a Powerful provactive hub about The Gold Coast - Africanus is a Great Writer! Thanks for being so courageous today!

Hey Africanus, I finally made it around the loop and back to your locations here. I must agree with you on most every incline of yours about the wrongful mistreatment of human beings should not be tolerated in any sense of the word mistreatment.

Of course I don't have to reiterate all of the shocking but truthful horrid conditions you've mentioned here in your hub, and global level atrocities that only monsters can conjure up, but I will say this. The lord has a plan for everyone in the afterlife, and I truly believe that their souls will be judged in the end.

This is my only way I can see any form of justice to have arrived in due time for those victims that have no way of receiving any form of retribution for what has taken place in Africa, and also in many other countless lands across the globe.

We all have been victims of such attrocities as what occurred in Kenya 2001, (Gold Coast) We feel your pain & sufferage Africanus

As a victim of much of this worlds wickedness people have possessed today & in ancient times many years past, I myself have seen things, heard things, and even experienced things that are in this sort of barbaric nature of humanity as your story tells, and I'm in full opposition to such acts people have chosen to invest their time into, no matter what year or time period it has occurred, and no matter who's government they may all be hiding behind.

Quite frankly there is no excuse for them, and I myself will never ever forget, just as the more recent events in 2001 with the September 11th event here in America, we can never forget any and all historical man made disastrous events, and slavery was just a drop in the bucket compared to what’s potentially to come if humanity never learns from such inhumane destructive activities.

This my friend on earth, is the only way to humanly put an end to it all, and potentially we can be headed there, with forums, and platforms such as hubpages to help us all lead the way to such a global victory of epic proportions.

Why? National Origin makes all the differece today for most people

My mother was from Honduras, my father from here descendants of African slaves, and Native American peoples both of them. We have been through a great deal of hardships in America due to the damaging effects of our ancestors conditioning, and some day I hope and pray that God, where ever he may be hiding, will show himself to us all, to put an end to it all.

The wars, the hatred, and wrong doings must stop someday. Unfortunately humanity will continue to be what humanity has always been, totally and utterly imperfect, scarred with rage, hate, animosity, jealousy, and all the other negatives that could be mustered into words, but also humanity has such a thing as Love, forgiveness, change, hope, and most of all compassion for all of life as well.

Thanks for introducing me to this incredible writer, Mike. Quite frankly, I couldn't finish reading the Gold Coast hub, so horrific were the things done to the people of Kenya by the British Empire. But I will continue reading his hubs because they contain a lot of information that simply isn't well known.

And while I believe it's important to bring this information to light, if only so that others can understand why the people of Africa and the African diaspora continue to suffer from what was done to our ancestors and what may continue to be perpetrated to this day, I also believe that we need to come together as a planet on all levels if we are to survive and flourish. One way to do that would be a simple acknowledgement that what was done to our ancestors was wrong, followed by an "I apologize." If the Australian government can apologize to the Aborigine people, then other governments can apologize as well.

Voted up, useful, and interesting.

Thank you for such a moving insightful comment @ my dear friend PWalker. It is always sad to here of stories such as this, and history is no friend of mine when it comes to the truest reality of many graphic, and unfair occurrences.

Africanus is one courageous guy, for writing his heart and soul onto these digitized pages known as hubpages.

He is definitely a much better man then me, because I couldn't muster up the strength to bear writing of what I have been through and or witnessed in life when it comes to the negative stories of tragedy, or human despair.

The truth hurts far more then the world of pretend, and so this is why people try their best to avoid what is far more real today than most things. I wholeheartedly agree with you, that an apology would work wonders, but unfortunately won't prevent from history repeating itself, time & time again.

Thank you @Lord de Cross, I must agree with you, the world needs peace, and no more waging of wars against our own people.

Hopefully things will get better for our future, but I guess all we can truly do individually is pray the future of humanity leans towards world peace. Thanks for paying my hub some hub love, I'll return the favor soon.

Thank you MsDora for the kind words, I appreciate it, and also for the time you spent sharing with me. Africanus is a guy that holds nothing back, and I think his hubs deserve the credit they are due to receive if more people give him a chance.

Oh and I believe he deserves all that I could do for him & that we can give a hub loving support, since his courageousness as a human being has shown to be such an inspiration, and good example to us all to never give up. See you soon in your hubs as well.
