Being social pays off!

Being social pays off!

Being social pays off!

I joined Hubpages 2 and half years ago as I write at the beginning of 2010. I was new to the world of writing, I’d always be around the internet looking for ways to earn some extra cash from being online, but hadn’t earned much. When I came to Hubpages I didn’t know how things worked, how to make money. All I thought was just write and post, write and post, but after some time my earnings wasn’t much and I guess I left Hubpages for a time. I come across another site which seemed easier to earn from. Okay I will never be a writer like so many of you out there but I always think we all have something to say so why not share it.

Hubpages so far this month

The other site

The other site I came across was RedGage (click to join), RedGage learned me so much on how to earn online. It’s not just all about writing or posting a photo’s online to earn some extra cash. Okay you will earn something over time but it will be very slow and I guess that you will give up thinking that it doesn’t work. It will also leave you wondering how and why do other people earn from being online and not you.

Like I say RedGage learnt me how to earn from being online line. The secret if there is ever one is to be social, being seen around the site, commenting, rating other people work. Being seen and viewing other people work really pays off, RedGage and Hubpages are both the same, they are social media sites. If you view someone’s work, more than likely they will pay a visit and view yours too. So many people have asked me at RedGage how comes you’ve earned so much? You will always see me around the site, rating and commenting on other people work and I would say that it would work on Hubpages to.

What I've earned on RedGage so far

I came back

I came back to Hubpages at the beginning of this year (2012) to give it another try. I decided what I had learnt from being on RedGage I would do on Hubpages and it seems to be paying off. My earnings have now started to climb and I do hope that they continue to do so and will be looking at putting in more time with Hubpages. Being social around the site, so if you are thinking why isn’t this working for me and yes I did ask that myself. Get out there, view other peoples work and start being social and see your earnings start to climb.

Thank you for take time to read this, take care and have fun

Excellent hub Kev! I love the message and the title. I think you are absolutely right in the way you describe both Redgage and Hubpages. They are both social media likes you mentioned. Like you, I've learned as I've progressed on both sites, that viewing and rating other people's work is critical to our success. Voted up, useful, and awesome. Also shared with my followers, and on Twitter and Facebook. Great job my man!

Interesting! Thanks for sharing this hub. You see, I also have a full time job and juggles my time in between. But, I guess, it's time I socialize more on HP and start on RedGage. I voted up and useful for this. ~Hopeful Hubber~

Great job, Arren! I only started using RedGage about 3 weeks ago, and I have to agree, the more social you are, the greater the return. VUMS (Voted Up, More and Shared)

Spot on. Although I'm finding that using other social media, and being social there also helps. It does take a while to build to a noticable income. I assume you have different articles on Redgage?

Thank you Academicviews, true using Facebook and also Twitter does help, yes being social, being seen around a site does and will pay off earning you more money. On RedGage if you take a look at my account you will see that I'm a photography more than a writer and post a lot more photos, click the link above to either join or view my work. This is very interesting, and you are very right. Being social online really does help. Although it is not the only factor in success here. I wish it were that easy. There's also writing good content and the ever-elusive SEO.

Thanks for sharing you insight.

Your quite right, the more you are social with other writers and share their work the more you will enjoy it here and hopefully earn more as you produce your work. It's like everything in life you have to find the right balance with the time you have. Good luck to you and thanks for the heads up about Redgage.
