Creative Hubber names

Scrolling through my fan base while preparing to read articles I found that the names of many are both unique and creative. I wish now that I would have been as creative ; however I kept it simple. Although I have an abundance of fans and would live to list them all, I have picked out a few that many of you may know or that you should check out as not only are thier names unique, their articles are interesting too.

Travel Monkey : Not only is the Avatar adorable but I realize that this person really loves to travel and has such a humorous side.

imadork : Creative and whimsical I see that they too have a humorous side to them and a warm heart.

Knolyourself: Although some may think that they can come off harsh in the forum, they have a heart of gold and this is a person that I could call a friend.

cgull8m: I wonder what the seagull ate? Seagulls are beautiful and someone enjoys them tremendously what a beautiful Avatar and how creative.

Ramen Emperor: Who would have thought to place these two words together and make it a powerful name?

Magnoliazz: Talk about pizazz and as you can see by the name they are a very brilliant person and their articles are colorful.

God's Child: She has been through a lot but has been blessed and is able to be here today, to tell her story now that is a true accomplishment.

Netters: She kept it simple like so many of us do and for being a new person here, you can see she is moving in the right direction.

WordPlay: When I think of WordPlay I think of game shows and fun what a unique individual with positive things to say.

BDazzler: Wow, sounds magical and brilliant it is a name many cannot forget.

Pricelessway: The name says it all and her name will draw you into her hub.

John Cash: The picture even looks like Johnny Cash someone admires and appreciates a wonderful Country Artist and they are warm-spirited.

Espian Scrolls: Sounds like something from the dead sea scrolls what a strong powerful pick for a name and what a great writer.

MistyHorizon: The name is as beautiful as the person and her writings are fun and high-spirited, I am certainly happy to call her my friend.

There are so many however I had to list some of them as the names are as unique as the writer themselves and everyone has a story to tell. Here is the question that many of us are asking, so how did the creative hubber name come about and what inspired you to create them?

If you have a creative hubber name and would like to share it, please post it we would love to have you share it.

BDazzler: And yes we do have a great community, by the way how did choose your name?:)

Well .. in the ninties I was an amature magician ... My tounge in cheek stage name was "The Bedazzling David B. The 722nd Greatest Magician in the World".

Everybody was using the Greatest Maagician, and the number 722 wasn't being used by anybody ... I built a whole persona around it. It was fun.

Then, later I realized that Jesus said, "You are the Light of the World" and in Isaiah 60:1 it says, "Arise and Shine" so, I realized that God has called us to Be Dazzling.

Thank you for the mention Julianna. I too am delighted to have you as my friend.

I chose my name a good twelve + years ago now, although in those days it was just mistyhorizon, (without the 2003 on the end). I wanted a name that conjured up a sense of spirituality to match my Pagan love of nature beliefs, and whilst trying to think of all the beautiful things we see in nature, a "misty horizon" just popped into my mind. I loved it, and so the name stuck.

I loved this hub as it really does provoke the question as to where many hubbers came up with their names from.

That is a wonderful story and thanks for telling us how it all came about as it is as unique and joyous as so many. :)

There are lots of creative names around. My favorites to add would be Gawn Fishin', Moon Daisy, indy ciny, sugardemon, and poorQpine.

What a great idea-- I loved reading your hub-name reviews. I didn't really know what I was doing when I came here a year ago and just used a name from an old email account to sign up--wish I'd put more thought into it, but who knew at the time that I was going to love Hubpages so much:-) Great hub-- thanks.

Lady Guinevere: Yours as well is unique and I enjoyed writing on this one as it is very interesting to me. :)

robie2: My name is simple as well and have been here 14 months, the names are absolutely amazing and unique I as well wish I would have also thought it through. However yours is nice as well and certainly not as simple as mine as I used my middle name and my last name. Thank you so much for commenting and I am glad that you enjoyed it.:)

I have had my name since the days of BBS'ing. I am really into Camelot and King Arthur. In fact my first BBS, I was a SYSOP, was King Arthur's Castle. Since choosing that name it has just stuck with me since the late 80's. You can read my Hub "Why I Chose The Name Lady Guinevere" is you want to find out more.

Great idea for a hub! I hope you draw a lot of interest from all ends of the naming spectrum. There are several male hubbers, too, whose user names/avatars make you wonder what's going on in their fertile minds!

I'll tell you how I chose mine. My company is Mighty Pen. When I joined HP I planned to write primarily about family/parenting issues. So the name "Mighty Mom" sort of popped out like an easy baby delivery:-)! MM

Lady Guinevere, I read it and it was amazing thank you for pointing it out , I hope others will also read it. :)

:)Mighty Mom: I love it and the name says you are a wonderful parent. :) This is a fun hub as creativity and being unique is what makes the world go round. :)

EYEAM4ANARCHY profile image

EYEAM4ANARCHY 7 years ago from Las Vegas, NV.

Mine had a certain element of chance.

Back when the internets first started and AOL was one of the few ways for the uneducated masses to get online, I used to get alot of pervs IMing me thinking I  was a woman, because my first name is Kelly. So I changed it to IAM4Anarchy, with the "4" because there was a limit to length. Then I quit for AOL about 2 years and got rid of my computer (you could actually live without one in them days) because AOL was kinda just a cesspool of pedophiles, pervs, and porno spammers. When I finally decided to come back I wanted to get the same SN back, but some rat bastard had stolen my original, so I changed it to EYE all caps.

When I first started writing I wanted to use a pen name, because I wanted people to judge my writing based on it's own merit, rather than already having an impression in their head based on who wrote it. It's uniqueness also makes it easy for people to find me. If you do a search for it, you get me and only me, not 30 people who's name is kinda close to mine. Also, most of what I write about involves Anarchy related issues and I do quite a bit of work with community groups that promote Anarchist ideals, so it is pretty appropriate.

AEvans profile image

AEvans 7 years ago from SomeWhere Out There Author

fishinfreak: You are correct how could I have forgotten that one, but you did not explain how you got it.:)

EYEAM4ANARCHY: Wow what an explanation and thanks for sharing it as it is amazing how many have created their names.:)

I've often wondered about hubbers names. If I'd thought about things more deeply when I first joined hubpages I might have come up with something more original, but hey-ho, I'm here now, and everyone is used to me as I am!

I enjoyed this hub, thank you for pointing me in the direction of even more great hubbers I may never have come across!

I know I wasn't asked, but I'm going to volunteer my name explanation anyway, 'cause I'm like that *L*

Mine comes from a previous relationship I was in (he and I are still very good friends to this day) one morning over breakfast we were having a discussion about something we'd be discussing for days and not agreeing upon, actually more like a debate. He made a comment I didn't agree with and I said 'No way mister, you're mistaken' and he looks up at me over his cereal bowl, spoon poised halfway to his mouth and says back to me ever so seriously: 'No. I'm Mister Taken, you're Miss Taken.' It was one of those 'Awweee' kind of moments that I will always remember.

AEvans profile image

AEvans 7 years ago from SomeWhere Out There Author

Miss *Taken: That is so interesting and I am happy to point you in the right direction as I stumbled through HubPages however in the end many of the people are absolutely wonderful!!!! Which includes all of my wonderful fans. :)

AE great inventive hub. My name kind of speaks for itself. It identifies with an age and an ideal. If I appear crusty or pedantic I can get away with it. if I am Wise (ha) so be it. If I appear young and fresh it works just fine too.

AEvans, I have only just read this hub. Sorry for not doing so earlier. Thank you for the mention, I feel famous with pic included :)

Once again, Thank you

TravelMonkey: That is not a problem and thanks for stopping by, I love your Avatar as it is absolutely adorable and it certainly does give you a cheek angle when interacting and you are so welcome as I had to mention it I loved the name.:)

How could I've missed a mention of myself in another hub? Thank you AEvans.

BTW - I thought BDazzler was named for that kit of little fake diamonds that you glue to clothes and other stuff.

One of my very first trips to the coast, I watched as a seagull swooped down and grabbed a hotdog right out of a lady's hand! The lady kept screaming at hiim to bring it back. I wondered if she was still planning on eating it. Perhaps she became known as cgull8m? :-))

AEvans profile image

AEvans 7 years ago from SomeWhere Out There Author

imadork: We all miss ourselves unless we type our names in and find you placed us in their articles, you are so welcome. BDazzler told me how he got his name, but I will let him explain it to you.:)
