How To Reach 50000 Pageviews In 60 Days Chapter 4

My progress has been slow yet steady. I am definitely enjoying writing even more than when I started this write-a-thon.

Dear Readers,

It’s been fourteen days since I wrote Chapter 3 of this series. These past weeks I had been busy handling surgical emergencies. Even though it spoiled my plan to write more, operating is still my number one hobby, especially when you find yourself doing things that matter with life and death. With my little spare time, I had to test drive various cars to replace my aging 7-seater. You can read about my car-hunting story here (Honda Stream RSZ 2.0L Versus Odyssey 2.4L,). I was also burdened by the news of JL, an old friend of mine, suffering from and battling advanced cancer. This lead to another hub (A Letter From The Man Who Was Supposed To Have Died). Other than these, I only managed to find time to write the following hubs:

Are You A Roaring Tiger Or Just A Dog This is a hub about realizing who you really are in spite of what the world wants you to know.

But He Looks So Benign A hub on my reflections about the deceitfulness of some people and situations we come across.

Hubpages' First Interactive Short Story This was a new attempt to involve my readers and hopefully bring about more interaction.

They Can Have Their Cake And Eat It Too This was a short story about a candle light dinner with twists which, I hope, are unexpected.

Thirty-First Of August A short piece arising from my self-pity. I wonder why my energy and youth has slipped away in between my fingers and why my joints ache for no apparent reasons. I also wonder why I haven’t been wearing my swimmers when I have my photos taken.

The following is how I have been doing:

Number of hubs: 67

Accumulated page views: 3003

Number of days since write-a-thon started: 27

Number of days left to go to reach a page view of 50,000: 32

My progress has been slow yet steady. I am definitely enjoying writing even more than when I started this write-a-thon. I am getting more fans and joining more fan clubs. I am exchanging more with other hubbers.
