How You Can Maximise Your Adsense Earnings Without Writing More Articles

If you like writing, then write more.  But you might never be able to get the most you can from the highest paying adsense keywords if you don’t squeeze as much juice as you possibly can from your writing.  And to get the most and maximise adsense earnings you need to get all squeezy.  This hub is how to do that squeezing the most effectively.

Understanding Hub stats

When you are logged into your account, go to the hub that you want to work with, and click the ‘stats’ link.  This will show you a variety of things, but the three most important are the revenue potential, the view duration, and the keywords.  You will also need to know how to use the Google keyword tool.

Detecting The Articles With Adsense Potential

How many hits you get is important, but so is the view duration.  If it is only one star, then what you are writing just isn’t holding people’s interest.  If you have $$$ then add some more information to it.  Use the google keyword tool to add a few more related keywords (that is, your longer keyword phrases should include your shorter keywords).

A video guide to understanding the stats on hubpages to help increase your adsense earnings

Now hopefully you have noticed that some of your successful hubs that are being read and have *** view duration.  Go to the keywords tag and find out what keywords are being used to find your pages.  Take anything that is ranking over 10 and write them down some place.

Now just to check what lies ahead, put each keyword into Google and see where abouts in the rankings your keyword comes.  If it comes to a decision of which keywords to work on, go for the ones that are on or nearest the first page.  Once you are in the top 4, you can leave it alone.

Using them to your advantage

So what are we going to do?

Take each of the keywords you noted down and feed them into your Google keyword tool.  Make sure that you adjust the settings so that the keywords show the source keyword you entered.  You are looking for your keywords to have a potential search volume of 1000 or more.  When you find one, then note down the other related top 4 keywords.

Do this with all the keywords.

Go back to your original hub and create brand new content on that hub with all the new keywords that you have found.  Yes, this will significantly increase the size of your hub, but it’s worth it.

And finally, create some new hubs.  Take a look at the keywords you noted down in the first step that receive 1000 potential volume and that are already ranking well on your hub and create about 5 hubs for each one of those keywords.  Between the hubs, the old to new and new to old.

Let me give an example of what this might look like.

You have written a hub which when you check the stats shows $$$ and a view duration of ****.  People are interested in what you have to say, and it’s got money attached to it.

The keywords indicate 4 are bringing in most of your visitors each month.  You write them down.

You check google and see that 2 are on page 3 of Google, 1 on page two, and one on page one, but at position 6.

In the keyword tool only 3 of the keywords indicate a potential of 1000 visitors of more.  The fourth, even though you are on page 1, has the potential for about 100 visitors a month.  There is little point on working on it.  If you can get the other 3 to page 1 by encouraging people to read your article, then you could see up to 3000 visitors a month!

Take each word, and write down the top 4 related keywords.  You now have 12 related keywords.  Write new content into your hub about these 12 related keywords.  That broadens your niche and potential of being found.

You now go and write 5 articles each for the top 3 keywords.  That’s a total of 15 articles.  Use the anchor text of the 3 keywords to link back to your original article.  Also, write into those 15 articles some of the related keywords, and point links from the original article back to the 15 articles, choosing just one of the related keywords as the anchor text.

Make sure that everything you write new is 500 words or more, and put in pictures, news and video sections.

This way you will squeeze what you already have done and make a profit from Google adsense, working the hubs you already have.

Wow, this is really good! You broke it down so it's easy to understand. I will do this slowly with my hubs. Thank you so much for giving an excellent formula for increasing adsense ... it totally makes sense!

Yes I agree with you the Hubpages Stats reports are very interesting. They can be used to increase our Goggle Adsense income when studied. I always check on them on each hub every few weeks and make changes.

Noticing what succeeds and building on that is certainly the best way to go, so good advice.
