How to Delete a Hub, How to Undelete a Hub, and How to Change the URL of a Hub

How to Delete a Hub

  1. Once you have logged into your Hubpages account, click on "My Account" at the top right hand side of the page. It will open to the "Statistics" page of your account. If it did not open to the "Statistics" page, click on "Statistics" on the top of the menu bar at the left.
  2. Find the Hub you wish to delete and click on the Hub title. It will redirect you to an "Edit" screen with a black bar at the top.
  3. On the black bar, you will see a button that says "Delete". Click "Delete".
  4. A window will pop up which says "Are you sure you want to delete this Hub?" Click "OK".
  5. A page showing that you have deleted your hub will load. Click "Done Editing" to return to that Hub and go about your business.

Slightly indecisive people, don't worry if you delete your Hub and then change your mind! You'll have 24 hours to undelete it.

How To Undelete Your Hub

  1. Once you have logged into your Hubpages account, click on "My Account" at the top right hand side of the page. It will open to the "Statistics" page of your account. If it did not open to the "Statistics" page, click on "Statistics" on the top of the menu bar at the left.
  2. Click "Edit" next to the Hub you wish to Undelete. You will notice that your deleted Hubs have a line through the title.
  3. Now click the "Undelete" button at the top of the page.
  4. Congratulations! Your Hub is back! Now make it better than before.

How to Change the URL of Your Hub

You changed the title of your hub, and you want it to be less confusing for your readers, so you want to change the URL to match the title. Here is one way to do it. Note: This is not actually a Hubpages function as far as I know. This is just a slightly bootleg way to change the URL of your hub.

  1. First, you'll delete the hub that you wish to change. Follow the steps above.
  2. Next, highlight and copy the text from your deleted hub. You may want to put it into a word document or into notepad to convert it to plain text. If you have tables or pictures, it may be helpful to take a screen shot and trim it to create one image to place back into your new hub.
  3. Now, create a new hub with your new title and new URL.
  4. Then paste your old text into the new hub and re-create your formatting. (This is a great chance to edit and make sure you are happy with other elements, such as bold and underlined text and subtitles!)
  5. Publish your hub!

This tutorial is really helpful for beginners and "indecisive" people.

Also helpful to those who click here n' there without actually reading the dialog box.
