HubPages Ad Program Earnings Review

I've recently joined the HubPages Ad Program

My main motivation in life has always been going against conventional wisdom and proving other people wrong. This is probably one of the main reasons that fueled my second 30-day challenge idea.

If there's one thing I wasn't able to stress enough in my post about my HubPages 30-day Challenge 2, it's that I am so excited about the HubPages Ad Program (also, this post is technically part of the 30-day challenge since it's already after midnight anyways).

If you inspect that post of mine, you'll see that I talked about certain techniques I'm planning to use to attract more traffic like writing about local topics with less online competition, recipes (most especially since HubPages seems to be focusing on recipes now; even having specific and special hub options for cook time, instructions, ingredients, etc), And of course my all-time fastfood home deliveries (which have been giving me most of my revenue all this time that I've been writing here on HubPages).

As you can see with most my writing, sometimes I just write about the most random things. Many times, I write about what I enjoy and it doesn't even feel like work when I write them. Like when I write about TV show reviews, it's almost effortless. This is because I write about things that I am really knowledgable and passionate about. Maybe this is why, at the same time, I am able to gain readers because they can see that I am really honest and sincere about what I am writing. It's not some article that's just trying to sell something. I guess this is what defines a quality article: you share what you know instead of trying to sell something.

I've been earning here in HubPages through Google AdSense

It's safe to say that I've been earning a humble sum just from posting random stuff here in HubPages. Of course, I also have other blogs in Blogger (those with the "blogspot" subdomain) which is of course owned by Google as well. But those are really more of my "for pleasure" blogs. I don't really earn as much in those blogs as compared to here in HubPages.

If you take HarryLeaks, one my blogs about libertarianism, I don't really care about how much I earn. I just love writing there because it has been the political philosophy I have learned to love after many years of readings, discussions, and debates. And I earn from that blog through Google AdSense. It's as if I am paid to think. I am a think tank of my own, technically.

But as I have said in my post about this 30-day challenge, I just recently joined the HubPages Ad Program and have already earned a surprising sum of money. 4 dollars for my first week! I mean, I know that's not a lot of money, but that's money I earned without exerting any sort of effort. I earned that in a week just by joining (thus my regret of joining just now).

This, no matter how small (and will eventually grow enormously if the trend continues), will add a lot to my Google AdSense earnings! And with the fifty dollar threshold for payments, it will be much faster than my AdSense payments which will mean I will have money in between those payments! I really can't believe I only joined now. So if you're already in HubPages and you haven't joined, join now. It doesn't matter how you want your payment to be. Just join right away. In fact, although I have been very faithful and trusting in AdSense, I'd say the HubPages Ad Program should be one of your priorities.

How to Join the HubPages Ad Program and get Paid with PayPal

Honestly, as you can see, it doesn't matter what I write about. It's almost as if I can write about whatever I want. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. See, I wrote a random sentence just now to point out how I can just write about whatever I want. Not only does this add to my PageRank (it's always been rule of thumb that more words is better although I've been more doubtful of this recently), it will also show how easy it is to earn from the HubPages Ad Program.

And here in HubPages, I can easily edit my articles in the future and maybe edit some parts that are over the top when it comes to "writing whatever I want". The point is: the fact that you are reading this right now means I am making money not just from Google AdSense but also from the HubPages Ad Program (I think I'm gonna give up on the Amazon Affiliate Program real soon if I still don't make even one dollar there).

Yup, it's that easy. You'll be surprised. If you check my account here on HubPages, I sometimes write about the most random things and still get a lot of traffic. And even if I get little traffic, what matters is that someone read the article because that always translates to revenue. The internet is all about content. The internet is some sort of universe that contains all these data. It's all an entropy of internet content.

At the end of it all, you are readin this right now. And that is a testament to the fact that my 30-day challenge is working and at the same time I getting more traffic and revenue here in HubPages. Thanks for dropping by.

Good article, but I have to ask this. Didn't I see somewhere that your adsense payments tend to go down after you join Hub ads? I'm still new at this so I don't really understand it all. I have been afraid to join hub ads. Do you know the real scoop on which is better, etc?

Nice article. Like @ihale said above, I had noticed a drop in my adsense, because of that I have totally disabled my adsense and focus more in hubpages ads instead. Since doing that my earning has increased.

So, it's worth testing both and see which works for you.

Oh man is this serious? I did notice a drop in my AdSense earnings recently. Do they stop showing Google AdSense ads and put Hub ads instead? I'm gonna have to look more into this. I've always thought that the 60/40 cut of AdSense revenue remained. Hmm I might have to quit the HubPages Ad program then because AdSense earnings remain to be my priority.

I guess it has something to do with the new layout of Hubpages.

Oh, and by the way, nice hub and good review!
