My Turn to say "Thank You Hubpages", for finally receiving my first payment; and my few personal tips for newcomers

So I wish my story will give hope to those who think they don't get enough traffic or not expecting to reach this far.... But nothing is impossible especially if your priority is writing before getting paid. That's the attitude I am applying here at Hubpages. The Important thing for me is to document everything that my heart desires, and look at it as a beautiful compilation of my masterpiece. I maybe the slowest here getting my first payment after more than two years, but like I said in my other hubs or networking site, I love writing at Hubpages and to earn from doing what you love is really a bliss. My First $1 was already a Joy to me and it serves as additional inspirations for me especially when it started to increase everyday.

But as explained almost everywhere here in Hubpages, if we reached our first $50, it will be paid to us on 20th or up of the following month. On June 29 Friday, I received an email from Paypal, something like this:

HUBPAGES, Inc. sent you $53.73 USD.

Dear Maria Cecilia Arrogante,

Just a thought you'd like to know Hubpages, Inc sent you $53.73 .

Note from sender, Hubpages, Inc:

Hi Maria Cecilia , Hubpages has issue you a Hubpages Earnings Program Payout of $53.73 Keep up the Good work, and keep writing great hubs!.

It was indeed a good news, and next thing I did was to click on the details and the steps to get my payment

For those who are not new in the process of getting paid on line. Receiving payments from Hubpages is easy. It is actually easy but I guess easier if you have credit cards or debit card. I didn't have both, I thought it was not necessary because, paypal showed me options on how would I want to get my payments. One option is through my personal account. I obviously chose that option, because it is more convenient and it mentioned only a P50.00 charge. But as I go to the process, I saw a reminder that my account has "Withdrawal Limits" and when I looked at the chart, I can only withdraw the amount of $10.00 USD.

Clicking the guide more, I realized that I need to be verified first and I can remove my withdrawal limits by confirming my credit card or debit card, which I did not have.

I asked opinion from a cousin working in a bank, and told her my situation, she told me to open an EON account at Union bank, it has VISA logo as required by paypal and it is really a paypal friendly card. EON card has many uses for your convenience and has no maintaining balance but an annual fee of P350.00 only. Thinkng positively I guess getting a debit account is practical, especially if we are thinking that it is in our spirits to write about everything, so as long as we love to write in Hubpages, the possibility of getting paid every month is always possible.

Unlike a regular savings account, EON Cyber account lets you apply on line and once approved you can go to the bank to claim your card. The story will not end with you getting a card, you still need to go back to paypal and get verified by enrolling your debit card/ again you will need to wait because paypal will send you a 4 digit code which will complete your verification.

To get the code go to www.unionbankph.com and click the EON Cyber Account, there you can enroll your EON card, you will be asked to complete a form with your chosen Username. Once accepted, a note will tell you that after two days you can log in to your EON Cyber Account, and from there you can get the 4 digit code that you will need to complete your verification.

Once you get the code you can go back to Paypal website and verified your card. once verified even your withdrawl limits will be removed, and everything will be alright.

It looks tough at first, but you will only encounter these activities in your first payment, that is if you are like me who does not have a credit card or debit card (now I have). In my next payment I know everything will work more smoothly.

I just enrolled my Card yesterday so as of this moment I haven't received my code yet. But I am very positive about it. At least am I more credible now as far as on line transaction is concerned.
