Hi Blog Journal--

Coincidentally, I was on the Forum looking up another issue and I happened across this info...

Due to recent changes (don't understand it all), no longer able to do an rss capsule for "latest hubs" (some members are in the process of changing 300 of their hubs)-- still OK to do for topic-related hubs.

Also there is "no advantage" to doing linking throughout articles for hub karma-- in fact, it is now deemed detrimental, so folks are removing from their articles.

Thought I would pass this along and if you/ others wanted to read up on the Forum to get more specificity as well. Take care.

No marcoujor

I seem to have no difficulties with the RSS Capsule.

Just copy the link with right click and paste in the RSS link box.

Sometime the website may not function properly because of some technical problems. So you may try later.

Keep writing

Blog Journal~~ May I ask if you have been experiencing any tech difficulties from the HUB end adding the RSS capsule to your work...? I have... it keeps saying "oops/ try again... " and/ or appearing to save and then it doesn't...

I have been working around it as much as possible with the link capsule... but now that I know what an rss feed is, I like it better... Just wondering.

Pinky, it is totally your choice. Including more will show more of your hubs and give visitor more choice but there is no proof to this statement.

Hence go with the flow

Hi BlogJournal, The RSS capsule allows us to show up to 8 hubs. What should be the appropriate no. of hubs to be included in the RSS? Thanks.

No Marcoujor the answer is not complex. Let me run through this. In this hub below the profile pic there is AdSense unit and below that you can see a link "Subscribe to BlogJournal's RSS feed”. So the process can be go to your profile or a hub and locate the link which is right at the same location and copy link address and paste i rss capsule and you are done.

BlogJournal~~ When you add a RSS Feed capsule to your HUB what actual URL do you place in it... I placed the one from my actual article and it did not recognize it...I honestly didn't check the Learning Center/ the answer may be there so let me know if the answer is too complicated and I will do so. Thank you very much.
