The New Writers of 2013

Grateful For Your Gift

Writers are born to tell a story

of imagination or reality or dreams

We weave and spin, aerating the mind

like the finest greens on the course of life

just one word we say, just one phrase

melting the wax from the wings of the heart

fly with us we beg, come with us

to the precipice of unconditional love

with each new hub friendship blooms

petals open, beauty reveals its origin

The writers keep writing and when they do

they fertilize the soul of the next one

and the next...and the next...such is life

real life...real living... real truth...real love

Thank you my friends!

Happy 2013

Missed this one somehow, glad I found it. 2013 is good so far, but I have to get some writing done. Thanks for the positive line you always write!

xstatic, thank you!

You are one who makes joyful this art, this relationship of words and spirit and soul. It is my greatest and deepest treasure to be among such talent. I am not waiting or wanting of heaven as I experience it in pieces every time I open up a hub...it's just that simple!

Thank you my friend! Thank You!

Nicely expressed.

I noticed an ad on your page for AuthorHouse, which is a service I've used in the past that is very professional with good customer service - but - writers need to know they charge you extentively for any rewrites you need to do. Amazon and Lulu both let you upload new versions of your book for no cost. Unless your editing process is less painful than mne (my early readers always find misspellings or awkward graphs) this practice is more than I can afford. Then if you cancel with AH and go elsewhere, you can not get Amazon to drop that version. It's confusing for your customers and frustrating for you. Sorry to put this on your hub, but want my fellow self-publishers to be aware. Thanks. And I really did like this poem!

Hey, No problem Kathleen!

Always glad to help fellow authors. Besides, I always learn something in the process! Oh, and glad you like the poem too! LOL!
