Money is no joke!

Fellow hubber SkySlave, wrote an awesome hub about "Money", it's a cool poem that depicts many issues with how a person actually stomach's dealing with the monetary system pretty much, but on a more human level along the lines of wondering why, or when things will change with it all for the better, rather than for the worse as things do appear to be today with our global economy.

Money has always been a sort of barrier for humanity, which has always stood firmly, as an obstacle of sorts between us all, and blocking many people from what we all desire, or need to have, and ever since the days we were fighting for the bare essentials to survive. Also leading all the way back from that of the ancient times, when us humans seemed to upgrade ourselves, from the more primitive forms of aggression, avoiding such painstaking fates as war & fighting, to eventually become choose to create a barter system, and fair sharing practices.

However things may have gotten extremely out of hand over time, and it has definitely evolved into a highly advanced system of controls, also known as the global economy, the stock exchange being its engine, and us people being its fuel to keep it moving, but the other thing is the products, which all stem from nature, natural resources, and the likes, well the balance is offset and things being so unstable, tends to throw us humans off balance as well.

Thus the true motivation behind such an effective poem, that was written to embrace such a predicament we're all in today, written by SkySlave.

A cool PBS special on Money

My initial response to SkySlave turned into this hub discovery

This is a heavy poem here, there's some pondering questions you've installed here as well, and we definitely need them to be answered for sure.

I always hated money with a passion since I were young, and even till this very day, and I also hate material purpose alone, also known as materialistic. Its such a shame what humanity has managed to aim focus upon primarily, and that of the masses of people on earth.

It's all been due to trickery for the most part, that truly is what commercialism is and so the only way to defeat it all, is to use it against itself, just as NEO had to do in the final Matrix movie, that would be the ultimate finite answer to this perplexed equation of sorts, when it comes to the monetary system.

I do believe though that some day it will be eradicated entirely, and a new control system will arise, that may appear to be much more empirical, which the web is actually already in route to take such a thrown, don't you think.

I missed that poem even thought I follow that Hubber; thanks, Mike, for reminding me.

Don't even get me started on money and greed! I am fed up, and I'm tired of screaming about this and nobody paying any attention. I'm tired of this selfish, self-centered society that we live in, and I'm tired of the lack of compassion all around us.

And it all begins with money and then spreads its tentacles outwards, ensnaring all who allow it.

I will definitely read that poem; thanks, Mike, for another selfless act of kindness on your part.

Thanks Bill, I'm doing my part to help great hubs get noticed, by all those who chose to follow me, and also by people worldwide, and so this is something I definitely hope many more folks can locate, because SkySlave deifnitely has the right idea.

Money = Hardships, plain and simple, and is an attempt to escape reality, which is our true nature, hence all the damage that's been done to our inner, and outer nature as well.

Voted up. Money seems to take the soul out of people and turn them into greedy money grubbers. Read the poem by SkySlave. Powerful indeed. Passing this on.

Yes, as He tells us in His Word, the LOVE of money is the root of all evil, not having it, but when it becomes your all consuming reason for living to get more money, then there is a major problem! If you have been blessed with a lot of money, then God is testing you as to what you do with it, i.e., bless others and help those who are in desparate need, etc. So long as your heart is right with respect to money, just do not LOVE money, as that is where you will get into trouble. Money is a subject in the Bible that is discussed over and over again, and so the Lord does desire that the understand this subject of money. Interesting hub. In His Love, Faith Reaper

Thank you Faith, I like the way SkySlave just spills the truth all over the screen here without regard to being fearful of retaliation by anyone, its blunt, its outspoken, and raw.

Hi Mike, my day work starts at 3pm and sometimes we are limited on commenting but have been around. Money is just a materialistic need that was implanted by darker forces behind the Illuminati and way beyond the Knight Templars. Your response to Skyslave poetry is right on "target." Seems that September will start with lots of folks with no more government assistance. We wih we could help them somehow, because we never know what could happen to any of us. You ad billy are doing a great job in here. Cheers bro'!

Wow this hub is certainly flattering i can't tell you how much i appreciate the support. My apologies for taking so long to respond to this hub, in all honesty i didn't know that it existed until just yesterday. I've been out and about, traveling and exploring while gathering allot of great experiences to write about. I just finally got back here on hubpages to publish some of the mass amounts of poetry that have accumulated over the last 10 months. Now that I'm back I'd be more that happy to shine some light on the mysteries about myself. To start off, my name is Skyler. I'm a 20 year old man born in Chicago, grew up in Las Vegas. All of my poetic writings come from real life experiences and encounters from my adventures here in Vegas as well as around the country. I'm typically very laid back and take life as it comes. I like to record my life experiences in forms of art and poetry in an unrestricted and unlimited fission. I love when artists open doors in my imagination, as i also like to open doors in the minds of others. I thank you all greatly for your support. I've been having the time of my life, and sharing it with you my friends makes it all the more worth while. Cheers!
