Top Traffic Sources to My Hubs

Although I joined Hubpages 4 years ago, I was not so active here. But in last 2 months, I have became active and published several Hubs.

I am getting a good number of visitors to my Hubs. I would like to share the traffic sources from which I get most of the visitors. This information will help you to compare with your traffic sources.

Google

Traffic Share: 31%

My top traffic source is Google Search Engine. I am getting the highest number of visitors from google.co.in + google.com. A small number of visitors come from other googles like google.co.uk, google.ca, google.com.au and few other googles.

Hubpages

Traffic Share 15%

My second largest traffic source is Hubpages itself. I get a lot of visitors from hubpages.com, and my own subdomain jainismus.hubpages.com

Facebook

Traffic Share 12%

Facebook stand at number three position in sending visitors to my Hubs. Most of the visitors come from my wall posts and facebook groups and pages.

Yahoo

Traffic Share 4%

Yahoo search engine is sending many visitors to my Hubs and it is my number 4 traffic resource. However the number of visitors it is sending is far behind the number of visitors coming from Google.

Other Traffic Sources

Traffic Share 38%

There are many other traffic sources, which include back links from my blogs, Google Plus, Orkut, Yahoo Groups, Bing.com etc. There is a direct traffic too.

Countries

It is interesting to know that from which countries the visitor come from to my Hubs.

In last two months, visitors to my Hubs came from about 100 countries. The highest number of visitors to my Hubs are from India, followed by United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Germany, China, Malaysia, Pakistan.....

I expect increase in traffic from Google and Hubpages in next few months. I also expect some new traffic sources, especially back links from other websites.

Thank you Cogerson, for your comment. I do not think that Bing and Yahoo will help us much as most of the people prefer Google search engine.

Yes, I want to get more traffic from US, but it is India on top followed by US, UK and Canada. About 50% of the visitors are coming from India. I think this is because of the India related subjects on which I write.

I enjoyed reading your hub on your traffic hubs. I see that it looks like Bing and Yahoo fall way far behind Google for both of us. I wonder what we can do to increase traffic on those two search engines? Voted up and interesting....thanks for sharing. P.S. More traffic from the United States for you.

jainismus,

do you think you will write a hub on how to link to search engines? I can't find one on that subject? Good hub but a little intimidating for me as I'm still so new at all this.

Because most of your traffic is coming from Google I suppose you are doing a lot of SEO and thus building backlinks. I believe it's a great idea to increase your overall traffic enourmously.

Yours are different than mine. I do get most of my traffice from Google, but Facebook is way behind everything else.
