When to expect the first Adsense Check from HubPages writing

First Adsense Check

Now leaving everything I decided to write a Hub on this subject because I know many of the active HubPages members joined this platform because it promised earning potential. And this prompted you to make an account and start publishing hubs and investing your precious time learning new things about blogging and all that matters.

But the question stands when you will receive your first AdSense check?

The steps to first Adsense Check

Now it's really easy to understand that establishing yourself as a writer of repute is the biggest and toughest of the many steps which you will encounter till you reach your first pay.

Now let me list the Steps which will take you to your First AdSense Check-

1.    Publishing at least 35 Hubs and 50 will be much better.

2.    Having around 5-10 of them at the top of the Google Search Result having decent traffic.

3.    The average time, which an active and good Hubber having good hubs under his belt giving him decent traffic, takes to reach the $100 mark enabling you to receive AdSense Check is 5 months. It's not a rule and depends upon you reader base and other parameters which I will be discussing later.

4.    Having decent number of followers around 250+

Now there is a reason for each of the step and which shall be discussed well in time.

About Adsense Account

Now I have written the time as Five Months but that is possible if you can get your AdSense account approved in around 3 weeks on HubPages.

There is lot of drama and time in getting a Google AdSense Account approved. Now I will discuss the AdSense in detail in other hubs but you should know following things if you don't have AdSense account and are in process of Applying for it

1. It takes average of 20-30 Hubs before successfully getting AdSense Account approved.

2. It may take more than one attempt and may go up to 10-15 before you get lucky. Hence keep writing and keep applying to AdSense till they approve you.

Thank you so much, Blog Journal... I can hardly wait to check out your HUB and work on this issue-- again, not to make a fortune but just to figure it out.

Now I "was" able to keep a rss "latest" capsule on one of my HUBS, so this is clearly a changing situation/ at least for me. I am just going to remain flexible, especially so new in the game and thank you, once again for all of your help.

Thanks marcoujor for your update. This will really help.

Although I just published hub with RSS Capsule on Latest Hubs, but I think the website is updating itself to the search engine changes.

About Amazon it's definitely not based on followership.

Let me check with my Amazon Link, I usually don't use them because they yield me no results and I think they may distract my users, but I am going to paste a Amazon in this hub, let's see what result it throws up.

I thank you for your response, Blog Journal and will be on the lookout when you write your article.

I appreciate I have a ways to go to build that community to attract the "Amazon click".

I am, however, baffled, as to why my computer will not accept my affiliate code for an Amazon product I am showing in my capsule. Is that, in itself, based on followership/ clicks or something technical, in your opinion?

If you would rather wait to answer for your article, I understand. I am in no rush with this and thanks.

Yes Marcoujor

I plan to write a hub on the topic of Amazon capsule but that is not much important, because the earning from Amazon takes time to pick. When you recommend a product to someone he should be able to connect with you and rely on you, that will only happen if you have something to show like huge following, large no.of hubs or time behind you.

Amazon is so different from Adsense, Adsense needs search traffic while Amazon relies on Community traffic or those who keep coming back to your blog.

They are conceptually different setups. To get a idea you can reed a lot of hub published by other successful and time tested hubbers like chuck and Patty.

Blog Journal~

I am reading a little "backwards" to catch up and I wanted to see if you had (or intend) to write anything on your experience with Amazon...

I know (even tho approved by AdSense pretty early and with not too much drama that I have to write much more for that first check...)

However, I am approved also with Amazon and unable to cut and paste "my link" onto the Amazon capsule... it will not recognize it... it will reconize the general URL, but not mine... (I just got an e-mail from Amazon asking why I haven't followed through on the linking...)

Just wondering if you had advice or if there is an Amazon forum I should connect with... Thanks!

This HUB was voted UP, USEFUL & AWESOME as usual and I appreciate your kind remarks to my profile following.

Hey, BlogJournal, I'm running out of paper and ink, printing all of the useful information that you are putting out. And it appears that I'm going to have to devote an entire drawer in my file cabinet to the printouts of your hubs that I am collecting.

No buddy that is not odd but what we talked about in the hub is the most common procedure and the problems faced by many of the new Hubbers.

It's totally ok and very good if you got your AdSense fast and easy but for many other that is not the case.

Keep writing and earning.

Thank you. This is the most candid and clear explanation I have read so far. Many give information but no figures to back up what they are saying. I, for example, know that I now need to get many more hubs under my belt before I get a good click through rate. Excellent Hub.
