Finding free photograph directories to use in Hubpages

Free photo directories for hubpages

So where do I get free photos for my hubs?

The above question of free photos is probably the most asked question for those new to hubpages. I have to say that in my learning here at hubpages I have found that alot of my generic traffic comes from the google images search engine.

It is a fact that those hubbers with large numbers of photos in their hubs consistently get thousand of visitors a day by using the text section of the photo capsule in their web2.0 hubpages.

The reason that hubpages is so successful in the search engines may be attributed to the fact that 2.0 websites are based on pictures and video.I conducted an experiment with my hub about jetski's ( see http://hubpages.com/hub/Best -Jet-Ski )and found that more traffic was arriving through the photo search. In most cases of a google search, you will see a picture which is selected to be relating to your search.

So this shows that the hubpages community is active in using photos to boost their hubpages relevance in the search engines.

If we think as a customer or visitor, we want to see some sort of picture of the product we are intending to buy through hubpages. This simple hubpages trick increases the relevance of your writing by sowing that the picture is also linked to your keywords.

So where do we get these free photos in order to improve the search engine rank of our hubpages. The answer is simple visit the free photo directories below to get photos relevant to your hubpages. In some cases permission is needed to use the photos and it is necessary to always read the terms and conditions of use for each free photo directory.

What do I do when I find a photo I want to use ?

The best thing about hubpages is that you can copy and paste code from different places without having to actually learn how the code works. So for a beginner to hubpages, it is extremely easy and quick to master the function of the capsules on your hubpage design and layout.

When you have opened a picture that you want to use, all you need to do is right click on the photo and a window will open on your page. At the bottom of this window, you will notice it says "properties".If you now click on properties, another window will open. In this window will be some text descibing the location of the picture on the world wide web and it will end in ".jpg" and will usually have the word image in it somewhere.

Now we want to highlight this text to copy it.If we left click our mouse twice, it will usually highlight all the text to copy. Now right click again once it is highlighted and the word copy will appear. Click on the word copy and it will copy the code location of the image into memory.

You are now reay to return to your hubpage design and open a photo capsule. In the photo capsule is an option to use an image from your own computer or from the internet. The code from your free photo directory is now ready to be inserted once you have selected the option from the web.

Right click in the blank space for the code and click on "paste". The code that you copied will now show in the blank space. Now all you need do is click upload image and wait a short while for the image to show in the capsule. You can now add any text you like to describe your free photo. Its as easy as that at hubpages.

I read, and followed all your steps, thanks. Unfortunately, I found your advice after already having been scammed, trying to pinpoint there location, using some methods not listed plus the one's you have supplied. Getting there, but they still have the site up and going, they keep changing the payment recipients, every one identity is compromised, there right back up doing it again with another. The site is first-best.com, plus they have numerous other sites that they are doing the same thing on, all similar. If you wouldn't mind could you please e-mail me and maybe give me some other pointers or resources I might be overlooking. http://www.0nlineforextrading.info

I have been seeing Terry Chen for the last five motnhs and fond him to be a person with passion for healing the mind body and spirit. He was one of the first to identify my aliment which turned out to be ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and researched the best approach to attack this devastating disease. Unlike most health care practitioners I have seen he has been honest, caring, and I sincerely trust his judgement. He gets my highest recommendation!
