Do the layout and length of a hub help determine whether or not you read it?
I'm guilty of not reading hubs based on their layout and length. If they are too long I tend to gloss over them (unless they are really well written.) Does anyone else find themselves doing this or something similar?
Yes, in a print magazine, I will gladly read 3, 4 or more pages of an article that interests me, on the Internet, if something looks more than about 750-1000 words, I generally just move on.
I try to start reading a hub before looking at how long it is. Sometimes it results in me reading a really long hub, and other times I end up skipping forward half way through. Also, if the text is all bunched together, I have a hard time sticking with it. Using things like subtitles, pictures, polls and other links, helps to break up the text and make the reading seem less daunting.

How do you conveniently determine whether your hubs are being copied/stolen else where?I'm just wondering if there is a convenient way to do it, because normally I use the Google search by copying a paragraph in my hub. That way, I'll know if there others copied my work. However, this method is...

I've spent the last few months experimenting with different hub lengths and layouts on sales hubs and trying to be rigorous about it. It's impossible to do this in a completely statistically valid model with this relatively small number of hubs (about 350), but after trying different styles of...

I'm curious as to whether there has been a decrease in hubbers using the hub hopper to rate hubs. I just have a feeling there is because my hub scores haven't been fluctuating as much (which is fine with me). Overall, I'm wondering if there's been a bit of a slow down in hub QAP due to...

I have tried the learning centre for this and if it is covered there and I have missed it, I apologise.I know that ideally we should create a number of Hubs around a topic when we think this might be a problem but in this very specific case and in relation to the idea I am kicking around in my head...
