It is very hot here as we travel north & I am hopeless in the heat, taking loads of photos for hubs but it is hard to concentrate in the heat .

No, not at all. I do most of my thinking in the bath tub. The typing of anything is a mechanical task. I have already finished it in my mind before I sit down to write anything. Mostly it is organizing. For the most part I write only what I have experienced, unless I note it otherwise.

Hi there hot here too, I think we are starting to get some real summer weather. Not a big fan of the heat either, slows me down. Eagle bluff looks lovely, Where exactly is that?

it's cold where i live. we have lots of snow, though not as much as we used to get. i think it causes me to stay in a bit more so i'm on the computer more then during the summer. i don't think it effects my writing but it does give me a chance to spend more time looking for information that i find useful or entertaining.

Most of the time the weather where I am doesn't have much impact on my writing, but we're now living under feet of snow and are expecting tons more of it to fall Tuesday, Wednesday, and maybe even Thursday.

Getting out without a whole big effort isn't easy.  Driving without worrying about cars sticking out from behind high snowbanks isn't something that can be done now.  My mailbox isn't easy to get at; and with each new load of snow, going out gets less and less pleasant (at least in my semi-rural-ish suburb).

On top of it all, I just get feel like I'm smothering if I look out and don't see see any blacktop or anything growing anywhere.

As a result, I'm staying in more and have kind of taken and "I'm-on-strike" approach to life over the last couple of weeks, just because life has pretty much become the proverbial "Big Drag" (as it always seems to be the end of January and until the first two weeks of February are passed).

So, I don't feel like putting a whole lot of effort into taking my spare-time writing all that seriously, and I've been just kind of wasting my spare time fooling around by answering questions in a goofy way.  I figure, better that than to take my foul, Winter, mood to the forums, where I'm likely to stir up some trouble for myself.

Each year, Valentine's Day marks the end of my four weeks of Winter blahs.  Hopefully, I'll write something amazing and wonderful and important and Earth-shattering in a few weeks.  For now, my spare-time writing is pretty much all about being miserable, or else about being so miserable I've turned completely goofy.

The weather here is never very cold but can get very hot, though air conditioning always helps.
