Does your activity help each of your hubs perform better?
Do the links from commenting, forum posting, posting hubs, answering questions, and everything else you do help each hub you publish rank more easily. All else being equal, not counting any other link building, ora quality issues, does a hub from a more prolific, or more involved, author rank better?
I think being active in the forums and writting original hubs and answering questions and posting questions helps with your author score. I haven't been as active as the past weeks and my score has always been in the low to middle 90's and it just dropped last night to 89, first time in nine month in the 80's. I have been in the forum etc and now back to 90 again.
I think being active does help your hub scores... just because you are drawing attention to yourself. And, if for some reason you answer a particular question or comment in a rather crafty way, a person might go visit your profile and check out your hubs. Therefore, you are getting more traffic and your hubscores will go up.
Not only that, but a person who is active in the community and becomes known for quality content, will also be followed by many and become a favorite of many. I know a few hubbers who write absolutley funny stuff. They have a lot of followers and I think all of them comment on every article. They have become known, and they have made themselves known because they were active in the community!
Your hubscore is sitting at 92 currently. I am going to take a wild guess that you are active in the community.
In a nut shell yes at first when I started I though that it was my picture that had to do with the score, but it turned out not to be the case. Active, Active, Active

I can't seem to find an answer for this in the learning center. I have a large set of articles I've been writing for a while + some time on my hands to dedicate to Hubpages for the next couple of months. Would publishing 10 hubs a day benefit or disadvantage me, both in terms of hub score /...

Is it normal to have a high hub score when first starting? After a few days of posting articles my hub score is at about 70. Just wanted to know if it is going to go down after a while or if it really does mean I'm doing an okay job.

Pretty much without exception my Hub score will drop two, three or more points within an hour or two of first posting a Hub. Then it gradually, eventually goes up again. For example, today, March 31, 2011, I posted a Hub and my score dropped like a rock three points. I don't understand this. I...
