Have the new rules on here made it a better site for you?
hubpages has new rules for posting hubs, has it made your experience on here better or worse?
We must follow the rules even if we don't get more experience. and sure when you work on hubpages you get experienced on time especially when you follow discussions and read new hubs of old staff. Writing itself is a great experience.
It's not affected me much. I had to trim the number of amazon.com ads on a few hubs, but that was it. That didn't bother me much, as I don't seem to be able to make much with amazon.com. . .not that I've really tried so hard.
I think the new rules are great though! Seeing spam on this site disgusted me, and gave me the sense that this site wasn't always going to be such a great one. I also know for certain that having amazon ads, as the first thing that someone sees on a article, is a real turn off for the reader, and it gives the idea that the content of the article isn't what was important to the author.
Not one bit. I am still on page 1 of google and first on the list on page 1 since September 2010 A.D. My traffic views are multiplying rapidly ever since that time. I get all of my traffic through 100 percent referring sites. I now have a total ever views of 1442 April 12, 2011 A.D. 10:30 pm. I earned my first $.01 cent on December 28, 2010 A.D.

I have been thinking of leaving HubPages for a while now because of several reasons. With their latest ebay/amazon update I now have to reformat over 90 hubs (Some had not been published yet and I was waiting for Halloween). Rather than doing this I will use my time looking for a site and...

I have over 50 featured articles on HubPages. Many of them have received comments indicating that I am a very good writer, etc. I did used to make money on HubPages but then the rules changed about Amazon product links and referral trackers. I went from making dollars a day to making less than a...

I always recommend Hubbers to write at several rev-sharing sites for two reasons: one, not to put all your eggs in one basket and two, so you can create an interconnected web of articles across the internet to increase your profile as a writer (which will do you far more good than a big body...

Do sales increase at this time of the year? Are you experiencing and improvement in Sales from Ads. Sales benefit all of us, Hubpages as well, especially when CPM is so low and one thing is for sure, we need some incentive to keep writing here.

I just signed up (and haven't heard back yet -- no surprise there) but was actually looking forward to writing some articles that would fit well with an ebay moduleI know most people get money from adsense but I figured over time 20-30 percent from ebay would be peachy.just wondering if this is...

Earnings in Hubpages are related to sales that have been made through ads displayed in our articles. The Ad programs, Hubpages and we, the authors are all waiting that purchase to take place. But as a newbie in this entire scenario, I am clueless about the way it all happens. I cannot find any link...
