Why are there so many pretty useless questions in Hubpages answers?
I have been going through the questions here and really so many are pretty useless. They have no real substance in them and I am beginning to think maybe asking questions have a way of boosting your hubscore. Anyone with a meaningful answer please.
I asked a question about this too. Many people just ask tonnes of questions that are either ridiculously cliché or just pointless. You'll tend to find that these questions are, by the most part, asked by non-native English speakers or spammers. These are mainly the accounts that are purely to make money and writing is seen as purely an income-based activity. I have also seen some that claim that the numerous questions are to increase their grasp of English language, but I am very scepticle.
Asking multiple questions is a way for them to increase their visability in an attempt to gain followers, hits etc. I don't think that there is much evidence to support the idea that it boosts Hubber score, but then again HubPages have never disclosed their algorithm. Hope this helps.

Do you think there should be a limit to the number of questions one can ask per day or in a row?I see question after question on a variety of subjects asked by the same hubber--say 6 or 7 in a row. Are they just trying to rack up points, or raise their score--or can they possible be...

Why do so many people look to people for answers that people don't have?"What does God look like?" type of questions really concern me. Which do you find more concerning...the one who asks the question or the one who answers like they know?
