I just recently asked this same question. I's complicated. Different things like activity, popularity, and karma are supposed to effect your hubscore. If your score falls below 75 then the links within your hubs will be "nofollow" which means that they won't have an impact on search engine results of the pages you link to. I hope this helps. Maybe someone can provide a more detailed answer

To get more Hubscore, You should write more hubs of good quality and they should be original and not copied. As you make more hubs, more people will view them and your Hubscore will increase.
You should be very Active, Helpful, and Be good to everyone here on Hubpages then your Hubscore will increase. But, your hubscore will not remain the same all the time. It will sometimes increase and decrease.
I too know very little on how hubscore is calculated. You should search the Hubpages FAQ for more detailed info. I hope this helps you.

Hubscores are calculated based on the number of visitors within a specific period of time, also originality of your hub. How many hubs you post is almost inconsequential. For example there are some hubbers that have been on the site for only weeks, have very few followers and even fewer hubs, yet they have a profile score in the nineties and similar hub scores. Quality and originality plus the number of visitors are the key points.
There are other factors, but they mostly apply to your profile score. However, the more hubs that you post the better chance of increasing scores by bringing in more visitors.
This is based on my own analysis for the last 2 months of all aspects, numbers, visitors, comments by others and other factors.

You can raise your hubscore by putting in the effort. Write, engage with other members material via comments, ask and answer questions, participate and get involved in forums and create groups.  Create and work in all aspects of Hubpages as if you were getting paid big bucks. There are no guarantees, but you get back what you put into it.
