Is it possible to change the name of the hub after it is published?

oops. I changed the title of the hub thinking it would change the name of the hub. I then published it and ...

How do I change the hub name or is it fixed?

You can't change the URL for your hub once you select it but you can change your hub's title whenever you please - go to your hub, click the edit button just above your hub then click on the title to edit it.

As far as I can tell, you can change the title, but not the URL of the hub. The only way to change the URL would be to take it down and copy it into a new hub (made with the correct title off the bat).

Hub title can be changed, if you want, but your url can not, just like other said.

Yes, repeating the same answer that you can change the title of the Hub by editing it, but you can't change the URL of your Hub.However you can contact Hubpages team and clear your doubt. They are the authority.

Yes, go into edit mode and click on the title and you can change it there. You can also change the category in edit mode.

The url is permanent.  I've got two hubs that I just plain messed up the urls of pretty badly - you can always change the title, but you can never change the url outside of the change from switching to your own sub domain.

Everyone else who has replied has given you good advice as to changing the title.

A thing to bear in mind though if you are attempting to increase search engine visibillity is that search engines use the URL as a key part of the search. Don't change the titletoo much if it means it moves away from the URL.

If you change the title to have little relevance to the URL the search engines may just ignore the hub completely.Because they think you are just keyword loading or the hub has no relevance.

If you need to change the title so much that this may happen, consider re-writing the hub with a new URL. You can even keep the old hub as a long standing link back and make it clear that the new hub is revised in the light of new information. So you in effect have two hubs for the price of one.

You can change the title by clicking on the edit button, but as far as I know you would not be able to amend the name of the associated url.

I decided to change the title to one of my hubs and it gets decent traffic, but I have noticed that the URL didn't change and wondered if this has had an effect on my hub's traffic.  I am more careful now to be sure that the title is the best possible choice for my hub.  I wasn't aware of some of the information I have learned here, so want to thank you for asking this question!

Yes, you can press "edit" then click the name of the hub and then you can change the name...
