Why is it when you publish a new hub your score drops? Not encouraging at all.

Is it  that the new hub starts at a lower score and pulls down your overall score? If that is the case, it would make more sense not to include the new hubs in the overall score until after a few days. This may be difficut to do but would avoid the frequent fluctuations in score

You should not worry for the fluctuations in the hub or hubber score because these scores are determined by several factors. Traffic, comments, sharing, revenue, vote up, vote down, making comments, asking questions, answering a question, frequency of hub publishing and several other factors. Reason for drop in hub score of a new hub may be traced in delay in indexing of hub by search engines, internal traffic from hubpages etc. To get acquainted with different aspects please read http://premsingh.hubpages.com/hub/Whats … -hubscore_

don't allow that to bother you because it will soon move up again when you least expect, it is normal for that to occur.

Try holding your hub for a few day before publishing it. It brings the score of mine up every time. Then you won't be having the fluctuations. I don't worry about them though.

The score of each of your hubs are probably averaged, and somehow affect your HubScore.  The more hubs you have written in total, the less each additional hub will affect the average.

Don't worry about it, the shifts will become less dramatic as you write more quality hubs.

Can't say i've ever paid attention. I just write and then ignore everything except the views. Always seemed to work for me tongue
