Am I really a Hubnugget winner?

For the 2nd time in three weeks, I've gotten notified that I've been selected as a HubNugget winner! That's exciting news but when I look at the stats, I see that other articles have higher percentages of votes. Doesn't that mean that I didn't "win"? Or are we all winners? ;-)

The top three hubs in each category are indeed winners. Your prize is to be mentioned in the latest weekly newsletter -i.e. advertising

I felt the Same as well when i first got nominated and was told via email that I won, don't worry about the stats, because them things will mislead you all the way or possibly discourage you from going further into the whole hubpages authorship, if it becomes the major emphasis.

I recommend that you start paying close attention to your Accolades overall, because to me that is how you can tell if your heading the right directions on hubpages.
Numbers alone wont do it as of yet, because its much too early in the game to tell, where your hubs might arrive over time, in terms of search engine placement.

As long as you remain consistent you shall find things going good for you here, the most important thing to me on hubpages is sharing with others and forming valuable clean communications between those in the hubpages community, even try communicating to the Hupages Elites after reading their hubs, many people surface around those parts.
If you looking for greater or higher stats, than that's where you also need to place focus, besides generating high quality hubs of relevant content to people worldwide.

Good Luck, congratulations on your Hubnugget award and welcome to hubpages its an awesome place so try to stay the full course, it all is based on your overall activeness here pretty much and your social networking status outside of hubpages as well.
Unfortunately you must promote what you've done on hubpages in many ways as well, and don't just depend on the system they put in place to gain viewers. You need SEO (search engine optimization) skills, meta tagging, keywords alignment, and back linking as well as many other web based techniques to be placed into full use for best stats results as well.
