I'd have to agree with Relache, on this one... Although, I'll go ahead and add my crappy two cents worth:
HubPages in general, provides a muliti-level platform for many areas to exploit, so how can you get tired of that? Money? It can be made here or elsewhere, as that is not a problem if you got talent OR know-how, SEO and marketing skills, etc... I do, however, detest people complaining about HubPages and how they are not making any money, when they seem to forget that they are getting FREE hosting for their silly articles to begin with, as I do get tired of hearing that - especially from folks that write with the same vibe that mimics an opinionated blog-style site and actually expect to get rich overnight. WTF?
Personally, I often find that the forum topics help fuel easy-to-write-about subjects that can easily be constructed into articles on your own blogs or websites (if not on HubPages), but as far as just sitting here and basking in the HubPage glow, uh, no. There is too much incompetence from so-called "publishers" here for me to take this "writer's community," as a whole, serious. I've seen participants on here ranging from talented professional writers to aimless kids with a keypad, and spammers from India to Mickey Mouse bloggers from the land of woo-woo, for example.
Other than that, it seems like a nice, fine, sensitive, politically correct community that I enjoy getting banned from on occasions, but I know that they mean well, as people like me who tell the brutal truth, often come off as being wrong in their conduct and whatnot, but only to those certain individuals I spoke about prior. LOL!
I hope I didn't offend anyone on this post, as HubPages is not tiresome in the least bit; praise be the PPC adverts and the HubPages community, and congrats on moving past Google's algorithm update via Panda, last year! Nice choice with the individual sub-domains per user, as it sure works for the Blogspots by way of Blogger.com.
