How long does it take you to find keywords for an article?  Does it get faster with experience?

It does take time. But the time spent is time well spent. Because, getting a good keyword and using it right will eventually get you good results. People usually get fed up and write anything they want and complain of no traffic. One good hub is better than a 100 non-researched hubs. It does get faster with exp. I've just started but its faster now. I'm sure you'll get them much faster than me

it should be as fast as your computer, and as fast as you can type the word on search. I'm sure on the experience, yes!unless you want to take your time.

Depends on your topic... For me where i write a lot of similar topics, i just rewrite the same keywords from hub to hub, but when i do a new topic, it does take some time... I typically haven't researched in the past, but google can help you as they will post which things get searched the most, and in what ways.

Hi, Thank you for this question.  Depends on how many keywords you have to search through and which keyword tool your using.  I use google keyword tool, and sometimes I use wordtracker which is a paid service.  Wordtracker will return many more options than google so takes a bit longer.

Practice will help.  Actually took me a while before I knew exactly what I was doing.

Time does take to fin but sometimes its so easy. Keep in mind what you are writing and about what topic. Try to make much easy as possible the title because it will get more searched by search engines (like Google).

It only takes me a few minutes.  A lot of times I get ideas for hubs just by reading the possibilities on the keyword search.

I agree, if you are writing a lot of stuff that is on the same subject you can use similar keywords.  It's definately worth spending time to use the right ones. ;-)

It used to take a while for me to find keywords for articles on my website...but I found a shortcut.

I simply go over to ezinearticles and click into the category that's based around the topic I'm interested in.  I'll then run through the articles and see what terms other are linking out with.

You can assume that if someone is out there trying to rank for a keyword with ezineartilces, then they've done some research (this is only true MOST of the time, some people are clueless about what they are doing) and very often if I run their keyword through the keyword tool I find something of value.

You might ask why I'd go after keywords others are already chasing.  The simple reason is the most people out there looking to rank have a very elementary grasp of the concepts of SEO, so it's easy to beat them at their own game.  The second reason is the many people are doing a "wide-but-shallow" approach which means that they invest very little time in promoting keywords once they find them.  If I invest a little MORE time, I can outrank them for their own keywords.

It takes only few minutes. Only one thing that you have to make it in your mind that what you want to write and purpose. and you can check your keyword popularity by keyword tools.

Its really depends upon person, if you are searching keywords which can attract high paying niche definitely you will need some additional time but if you just wish to stick to the hub and prefer to allocate keywords which appeal you most from your experience as author this time can be considerably short.
May be with time one can adjust fine balance between two.
