Hubscore sliding down
What is it that someone can say to cause people to keep voting his or her comments down so much? down 11 points in one day thats a record
One of the great mysteries of hublife! I think you probably need to publish more quality hubs and provide thoughtful comments on other hubs (not just answer questions). My hubscore has stayed in the high 90s for weeks, and I definitely notice publishing and commenting have a positive effect (and that's most of what I do!)
I have no idea whether having questions voted down affects your hub score - I hope not, because it would discourage people being open in their answers. Good luck!
@LauraGT thank you for taking the time to answer my question i really appreciate your answer.
The number one cause of a sharp drop in HubScore over a short period of time is following lots of other authors.
The number two cause is unoriginal Hub content or having multiple Hubs unpublished.
The number three cause is loss of a significant amount of web traffic.
Votes on comments has almost no effect on HubScores.

I'd like to suggest we get rid of Hubber Score - and perhaps even Hub Scores. They:- are constantly misunderstood;- cause a lot of upset and grief in the forums; and- encourage newbie Hubbers to direct their efforts in entirely wrong directionsFor instance, I've known newbie Hubbers stop...

I have read that some bloggers disable their comments. This way other bloggers who want to discuss will have to write a separate article on that blogpost on their on blogs, so they have to link back to the original blog. This means more incomig links, hence higher SEPR, which in turn increases...

It doesn't make sense to me why old hubs are reducing in scores as the lately published hub's score is rising: I mean; how does a recently published hub affects other hub's score? It's a mystery here!
