   Would you rather have a higher number of your hubs read, or a higher number of followers?
   
   I've noticed some hubbers have a high number of followers, yet their hub view accolades are not.  I've noticed some hubbers have a not-so-high number of followers, yet their hubs have been viewed 10s of thousands of times.  Which would you rather have - hub views or hub followers?

   Good observation. I pay attention to it as one of my ongoing jabs with an old friend...other than that..it does not matter...

   I'm definitely interested in views, not followers.  Hubbing is not blogging.  With blogging, you are building an audience and trying to keep them with you, so followers is important.  Hubbing is for providing information thatt answers questions that people have about things they are interested in searching.  You get more views if you've provided information they need.  You get better (longer) views if you provide better information than other souces.  You might get repeat views at that point too.  I have one Hub "Easy Words to use as Sentence Starters" that I think gets a lot of repeat visits because people pull it up when they are writing an essay to look the list.  They could copy and paste the list into a word documents but I don't think people do that.  So I'm thinking it might be a good idea to write other hubs that not only get views, but may get repeated views.

   I'd rather go with the views on hubs than number of followers. I think most of us write hubs because we enjoy it and would like others to enjoy and get something out of what we have written. So for me getting the views rather than followers means much more to me.

   Absolutely views on hubs as that is how you make money. A large number of followers is good but it is important to write quality hubs to get good comments.

   I would have to say hubs read.  I spend a lot of time writing my hubs and would love for them to be read.  I do enjoy the online community here at HubPages, and enjoy reading the work of other hubbers, but I'm not the "follow-for-follow" type of person.

   All followers do not read your hubs. I would rather just have people read my writing.

   "A reader is the one for whom a writer writes" So undoubtedly, readers count more than followers.

   I would most definately prefer to have a higher number of my hubs read It would be great to have tons of followers but.... why follow me if you aren't going to read my material? Knowing that people are reading and utilizing my content would make me happiest!
