   Should Hub scores stay stable?
   
   I don't want to be  a Debbie Downer or 'sour grapes' Hubber, but It seems fair to me that that a Hub score should stay stable; my highest score attained should be either the one always listed, or it should be stated next to my current score. Maintaining a '100' seems to me to require almost constant (several times daily, every day of the year) commenting, questioning, and adding Hubs. I look at those who have scores of 100 and often think: "How did they/do they do that and continue to do that based on what I have seen of their Hub quality, numbers of Hubs, and activity?

   If a Horses stable is good enough for the hubscore then I vote YES!

   Mine bounces between 95 and 100. It would be nice if I didn't have to constantly baby it. I spend more time babying it than writing. If you have hit it more than once, it should stay there.

   HubScores were not designed to be static.  They fluctuate due to multiple factors.  The more Hubs you have and the longer you are a member of the site, the smaller a window of variation is seen.

      Baloney! 81 Hubs and writing since 2008, only hit '90' once, for a week.

      I can go away from this site for a month, traveling without Internet access, and my author score never varies by more than five or six points. Once I came home to find I had a 100 score, and I hadn't been on the site for two weeks.

   I think that's a tough question for a site to decide. The flip side of your question is "Shouldn't people be rewarded for keeping their material up-to-date?" Updating it also makes a hub get back into the hopper, which boosts traffic.
   
   I don't worry about individual hub scores, but I pay attention to my profile score, which is an overall indicator of performance. I think your proposition that your highest score attained being listed next to current score would be a nice touch, but does it serve enough purpose for HP to spend the time and money to develop it? I doubt it would.
