How can I publish a haiku-style hub with very minimal use of words?
How can I publish a haiku-style hub with very minimal use of words? I think the rules-detection script for word count is flagging my hub down for not meeting the minimum number of words.
Write the haiku in one text box and in another text box give a couple short paragraphs explaining it. You could write about what inspired you, what you were thinking about when you wrote it, what it means to you, what you hope your reader gets out of it, and so on. This gives some extra word count without impeding on a the simplicity of a haiku.
Sounds great. Will try that. Thanks, nochance!
Oh, and at the end of your haiku hit enter a couple more times. This will put some space between your haiku and the next text capsule.
Will note that as well. Glad for the info and the chance that you found my question!

I was hub hopping and had to flag a few hubs for being substandard (word count). One hub had exactly 10 words and 2 photos. There should be a way the system prevents you from publishing a hub like that except if it's in the poetry section.

http://hubpages.com/travel/Cape-Town-Pu … -and-taxisSo relocating back to Cape Town after a 30 year absence, it was a whole new ball game. I found the public transport system difficult to negotiate and Cape Town websites don't provide any information. So, in the end, I went to the officials,...

I have tried the learning centre for this and if it is covered there and I have missed it, I apologise.I know that ideally we should create a number of Hubs around a topic when we think this might be a problem but in this very specific case and in relation to the idea I am kicking around in my head...
