   Do you usually keep editing your hubs or just set it and forget it?
   
   I find myself constantly shifting things around and rewording sentences I think I could have said better. Is this normal?

   I frequently come back and edit my hubs multiple times.  Sometimes not for months, but at some point they all get edited.

      I think revisiting is good to a certain extent, but I might need to set it and forget it. Sometimes I'll rearrange so many times and things end up right back where they were. lol Thanks for answering!

   I never bother to keep editing my hubs. I usually read over it a few times just to make sure it all makes sense then publish it. After that I'll move on to writing other hubs even though I know some of mine could be updated but knowing me I'd end up basically rewriting the entire thing!

      I am right there with you. I think if I had the time I might delete everything and try again on some of my hubs, few they are.  All this editing is time spent I could use to right ANOTHER HUB! )

   I constantly edit my work. I get surprised by errors that somehow only show up every time I go through the hubs.
   
   I many times fiddle around with keywords and a sudden spike in Google reminds me that it is a good habit. A little change or addition of info is good at least from my experience.

      Yes editing for errors is always good.  I'm surprised at the little words I leave out or spell wrong at the end of my hub, esp when I am writing fast.  Thanks for commenting! )

   I publish then let it sit for a day or so.  By the time I publish it, I have gone over it so many times, I tend not to see the simple errors, a missing letter in a word or a small typo. So I go back in a day or so with fresh eyes and run through it.  Then I do the suggestions for links. 
   
   I do check my account daily to be sure no links have become broken or any other problems that might come up.  But the hub itself generally does not change.
   
   Sure it is normal, I think we all want to do a great job and have a fear that someone won't like our writing--and say so.
   
   One of the ways I come to a final decision on leaving a hub alone is to read it out loud. It is so much easier to catch awkward syntax or wording when I am hearing it as well as reading it.

   Every once in a while I will go back and update or add more information to an old hub.  I also occasionally find errors in my work so I have to take the time to edit it.

   Occasionally to sometimes. I edit my Hubs so that the content is always fresh and appealing to the reader. Evergreen Hubs need sporadic editing because they are always readable for at least 5 years and span all four seasons. Ditto for seasonal ones.

   I do exactly the same thing. I think the advice duffsmom is good.  I just published my first hub but I didn't wait a day.  I think sometimes you can drive yourself crazy rewording and shifting things.

   An author's work is never done.  There are always things that can be tweaked and improved! 
   
   I continuously go back and edit my hubs.
