Why do HubPages program earnings sometimes get behind a few days on our Accounts page?

Great question. And it mostly happens at the end of the month? The only explanation I can think of is they get very busy and a bit overwhelmed? Or maybe they need to add more staff?

Perhaps they are waiting for us to ask them smile

I don't know for sure, but it happens, it seems, once a month or so. Maybe they're waiting for "the numbers to come in" on their end.

Yes, perhaps a sort of communication lag

Hi Christy. I'm not sure why that happens. It never bothered me before, but now that I am getting a consistent payout each month I watch daily. If there is more than a two day delay I get quite anxious to see my progress

I just asked a question very similar to this one yesterday. Some Hubbers informed me that the Google Adsense program had some sort of update on July 25, which may have been responsible for the delays in our earnings reports.

Okay thanks Rachel for that info about this month. I wondered generally why this backup happens. I'm happy for all of the responses to help me smile

It is usually due to delayed reporting by Adsense or Ebay...

In this case I am just referring to the HubPages program earnings. I was still getting Ebay earnings each day. The number of responses here is great, thanks all!
