   I would like to move my "idle" hubs to another website.  Is there a protocol for doing this?
   
   I have several hubs marked "idle" and I would like to use them on another website.

   I would just copy and paste the text and then un-publish the hub.  Programs like sitesucker are great for getting your hub archived, but it will not help you separate the html from hubpages from the stuff that you have written.
   
   With a little work you can likely wake up those idle hubs.  (Unless you are a fiction or personal experience writer... I am thinking that will be difficult.)  I don't think that traffic is the main motivator for idle vs active (at least based on my hubs).

   The content of your hubs is your own to do with what you want. If you want to unpublish them and move them elsewhere you can do so without seeking approval.

   I just copy and paste them to the new webpage and then delete them at Hubpages. You do have the option of updating them here to get them off the idle status.

      Do you mean if you remove them from HP and publish them somewhere else but decide at a later point to republish them on HP? Yes you can.  Just unpublish them from where they were, wait till they are no longer indexed otherwise it will be duplicate

   Hi Sandra,
   Since you own the articles you are indeed free to do with them as you wish, including taking them down and posting them elsewhere.  Before you republish them on another site, you should wait a few days to a week for the articles to clear from the Google cache.  That way, whatever site you post them on next won't reject them for being duplicate content. If you put them up on your own site, you don't need to wait.
   
   I would recommend Infobarrel to publish anything that isn't creative or personal writing.  Infobarrel gives 75% of the Adsense, Amazon, and Chitika ad impressions. Wizzley is another revenue sharing site.  They have a really nice and professional looking layout, but their ad share is only 50%-60%.
