How many hubs of other writers should you share a day?

   How many hubs of other writers should you share a day?
   
   Is there a number of hubs that is too many to share of other hub writers? I know we should not share our own often.

   Personally I try not to think of it in numbers.  My criteria is:
   
   1.  I have actually read the hub from start to finish and commented on it.
   2.  I really really like the hub and think my followers will also.
   
   If you share a hub every minute, then people know that you didn't apply this criteria.  I limit my shares to about 1-2 hubs a day.  My followers do have other hubs to read from the people they follow so they really don't need a lot added to their feed.

      I am echoing Millionaire here.  I share those that really make an impression with me and I think others will benefit from reading. Too many great hubs to post them all!

   I'm also interested to know the answer to this question! I just share hubs if I enjoyed it and think someone else might enjoy it, too. That means some days I share nothing and others I may share several hubs. But I try not to share so many that it bogs down the feed. :   )

   While I try to only share well written and interesting hubs, I also understand that sharing too many hubs could upset my followers. Hence, I try to limit the amount of hubs I share to a maximum of 10 per day. However, I sometimes share more on external websites. There really shouldn't need to be a limit, just only share what you think your followers may enjoy and don't overdo it.
   
   Sharing helps everyone, but only when done in a sensible and supportive way. I've actually written a couple of hubs about sharing and the good results it can bring everyone when done genuinely and consistently (for your followers, new hubbers and yourself).

      Excellent advice! I also limit my sharing. I do post externally as well for others to benefit from the hub article.

      Thanks Vespawoolf. I forgot to say that I normally leave a detailed comment on these hubs too, as if they are worth sharing, they should also be worth your time to comment on. I also believe that the quality gives an insight to writers here.

   I don't share Hubs everyday and i try to only share quality well written Hubs that I have read (and commented on) that I think my followers may enjoy.  I will particularly try to share the Hub of a new writer (if it meets the criteria).  I would like to give a new Hubber some exposure.
   I try never to share more than 3 Hubs a day (and that would be a rare day).
   One thing I don't understand is why sometimes someone will share the Hub of the Day.  I believe we all get that on our feed anyway.

   I only share hubs that I particularly like.  Reading the other answers to this question makes me realize that most people take into account what they think their followers would like to read.  Although my specialty is herbs and gardening, I read hubs on a lot of different topics and share what i consider the best with no regard for what others might like to read.  Perhaps I need to rethink this.

   I think sharing hubs is something many people have misconceptions about. A lot of hubbers out there believe if you share many hubs you are going to get more followers which in result will lead to more views, and therefore more income.
   
   This is very far from the truth. You should only really share hubs (like many others have said) that you have read through from start to finish, and really engaged with. You should only share the hub if you feel other people will also benefit from reading the hub.
   
   Personally I would never share more then five hubs a day, and most of those are from hubs found through hub hopper; not from my contacts. This is because most of my contacts already have a great following of several other hubbers, and will already have an audience for their hub(s).
   
   A lot of the hubs I find through hub hopper are the first or second hub a person has written and more often then not they have almost no followers yet. These are the hubbers who really need a leg up to start, and sharing their work if it is good can only help. I do share my contacts work, but not as often.....
   
   I wouldn't share too many hubs per day as it will make your status filled with sharing. Your contacts are not going to believe you have necessarily ready through 40 hubs and believed they are all worth sharing. If you only share one or two, your contacts will hopefully think WOW! This must be great if (s)he is sharing it!

      This has been an insightful discussion. I've starting sharing more hubs lately, but now I'm going to rethink my strategy and share less! Less is more, right? Thanks.

   I really dont think there is a amount on how many you share, What I do is if I read a hub and i like it I just share it so other people can share and enjoy it as well.

   I share on Twitter, Google+ and Pintrest more. Just from my experience as a follower, some people share too many hubs and that seems to clog up the feed. I understand if you want to get the views up for others- but usually you see comments left by that person on the hub. I share about 3-5 in a single day depending if I liked it and have left a comment as well as if it hasn't gotten many comments and could benefit from feedback.

    I share hubs that everyone can benefit from. Some of the better more informative hubs I share on Facebook and Twitter. It must be the mood that I am in, because some days I share more than 5 hubs while other days I share none.

    I share hubs kinda on a rare base. I know if something's awesome when I think "I have to share this!" So that's on occasion. I don't think it matters what you share on a daily base as long as it's good quality and deserves to be read. This was an interesting question Carol!!
