I don't know why Google AdSense won't approve me for an account - can someone suggest why?

They said that I need more "content" in terms of more complete sentences and paragraphs... but I have quite long hubs, and judging from the scores I have, HP considers them to be well-written. I'm from Canada, and joined 2 months ago. Can anyone suggest why I wouldn't be approved? Thanks smile

You definately need to break your hubs up into more paragraphs.

Can you estimate how long you think a paragraph should be? My latest Hub is already divided into 20 paragraphs or so. Does anyone know if HP specifies how long paragraphs should be?

There is no prescribed guidelines for it. You can design your article as per your own choice. It will be recommended to also use some pictures & videos to make your hub more attractive.

Breaks in paragraphs, section headers, pictures, bullets, etc, helps the visual scanning process and let's readers get more out of your article (online, people scan, not read). I don't think this will affect you being approved on adsense, however.

Usually google want 6 months old website.  not unless you have page views in 1000s they wont approve before 6 months.

6 months criteria is for Indian bloggers who have created their own blog. If you are applying for adsense through hubpages, there is no 6 months criteria. I am not sure but I think its, minimum 10 quality hubs & at least 14 days old account.

The general consensus is that you need about 10 hubs before being approved. I think the length of your articles might affect this number, but yours are not so long as to cut this number in half. Write a few more articles and try again.
