It is proper to market a hub outside HubPages or wait at least 24 hours before marketing it outside?

At the time we published hub that Hub's status is on Pending for at least 24 hours as it undergoes the Quality Assessment Process. However, it is already open for public and for critiques and other comments. Also it can be marketed to social networks and other bookmarking sites. Now my question:  What if the hub is rejected? All comments, views and traffic it garnered will be useless. Added that the hub is already flying across the Net.

During the pending phase, ads are removed from the hub, so what is the point in marketing if it's not going to generate any income?

The reason they removed the ads is because they made google "notice" the hub and record its address as a "no index" address (as it is during the pending phase). This meant the hub wouldn't appear in google listings for several weeks until google looked at it again.

Now, sharing to social media can apparently get google to notice the hub too. This is because you're putting lots of links to your hub out on the internet for google to see. For this reason, I would recommend against sharing your hub to social media until you're out of the pending phase.

I wouldn't publish content to multiple websites, bad idea. This is considered duplicate content in the eyes of search engines. When you create an article on a domain, you should leave it on that domain. Social bookmarking sites are also frowned upon by Google. In fact, I've heard countless people state they were banned from the adsense publishers program for using reddit, stumble upon, and dig. They want publishers to rely n organic traffic, and quality links. For whatever reason they chose, search engines draw a close line between social bookmarking sites and spamming. On the other hand, posting links to social networking sites like twitter, or facebook, are not frowned upon.

I'm not so sure about that. I have been placing all of mine on Redgage and my traffic is fine. I think it has to do with whether it is overdone or not.  Some publishers post theirs on hundreds of sites and that is when Google doesn't like it.

Idk about that ether. I have heard that google is moving toward social as its main indicator of content quality. The more likes, fans, tweets, +ones etc. Idk the safest way to get traffic is build an email list and let them drive your traffic

" the hub is already flying across the Net. " If you have the power to that then yes you should promote it.. You should be worried about the long term survival of hubpages quality assessment shoud not be a problem if your article is good.

I usually wait for the quality assessment to come first. When that is cleared usually within 24 hours I proceed to market the hub. It's pointless marketing your hub until it has been cleared because if your hub fails the hub pages quality test then your marketing will have been wasted. It think it is sound advice to wait until hubpages have cleared your hub for publication before you market it. Good luck from safiq.

I really appreciated those who have participated and shared their commendable thoughts regarding the question above. All the replies are good and are useful tips to share to other hubbers who have the same doubts and question. And today I decided to select the best answer. Again thank you guys. Happy hubbing. Of course, this is still open for other views and opinions.
