Is something going wrong with HubPages?

One of my hubs has 36 likes on Facebook and only 39 total views.

Since I've been on the hub more than 3 times in making it, I know for sure that something is really wrong here :L

Does anyone have any information on this? I also seem to be getting a lot more views but no more money for it?

You can't track earnings per article, so how do you know you are getting no money for those views?

Because typically you earn $1 per 350 views and I can see how many views in getting.

Where are you getting that statistic?

I'd never seen that $1/350 views stat before, but I just checked my account and I'm getting $1.12 per 350 views so maybe there is something to it!

I'm basing that statistic from the earnings I've received per views for the last  12 months, my girlfriend receives the same. I don't know if HubPages has the exact number somewhere?

I think HubPages have made several changes in the last couple of months. I have also noticed that my views have stayed around the same, but my earnings have dropped considerably. Hopefully we can figure it out. Good luck!

It people are clicking the link and then moving on from you page within a few seconds you may not get paid for this. As far as I know our earnings aren't just made up of clicking onto a page, to earn our hubs need to attract reader attention for more that a few seconds. It may be that though people are clicking onto your hub from face book they may be moving to other pages very quickly from you hubs. If you look at your account in Google Analytic and take a closer look at duration of your page views. If your page has very short views in seconds it could explain why you are not getting paid. As far as I understand viewers of hub pages need to be viewing for longer for us to get paid. Good luck and I hope this helps. From Safiq Ali Patel.

Hey Safiq, it would just seem odd to imagine that 36 people out of the 39 views liked the hub without spending more than a few seconds on it - I don't have friends on facebook that would be interested in this hub! + I would have been on that hub 39+!

Yeah that's interesting, it makes sense too and there is a "hub view duration"  statistic in the stats section of each hub. May need to do some research on this :S

It happens to me too though, and I cannot pinpoint exactly what is going awry with my earnings. I suppose we can't just focus on only one article-writing website, but also not neglecting the others, including Helium, Triond and eHow. It also has to do with luck.
