I can't imagine myself earning a thousand dollars a month from hubpages. I'm aiming for at least 300. I know it sounds hard but I believe its possible. Keyword research is a must and of course you need to create high quality and original content. Don't expect views to come in after creating hundreds of articles with facts that are already found online. Remember that quality beats quantity.

You might question my experience as this is a new account by I have much older account with more than a hundred hubs. I decided to create new one after realizing that quantity won't lead you anywhere here in Hubpages.

And I provide myself right. This account tops my old accounts average earning even with just a few hubs.

Yeah, there's lots of hubs already about that topic.  The basics are the same for HubPages as anywhere else...

    --  Determine your niche/audience FIRST.
--  Research keywords for that niche.
--  Write lots of hubs for THAT audience.
--  Include a keyword in your hub's title.
--  Provide useful information that isn't already out there.
--  Network with others in your niche (both writers and readers) on social media.
--  Network with others in your niche via blog and forum comments.
--  Gradually build backlinks, but only from relevant, high-quality sources.
    --  Don't quit.
    --  Adjust as needed...but don't just stop.

There are few "secrets" out there anymore.  We all kind of know already what we gotta do.  What trips us up is that we get distracted trying to find shortcuts, then we get discouraged, then we become cynical, then we give up.

But most of the successful people online are successful because they just commit to providing real value to their readers, and they don't quit.

    I hope that helps.

I have earned $3.43 in two months time. But others are saying that you can earn as much as your can. Once you establish your brand name as verified author and start getting traffic, you might be spinning money with tips and tricks. 1000 visitors generated approx 1$. Try Try till you Fly.

how much you can earn depends on how many hubs and questions you could answer and comment per day. You have to make it a daily habit just like everyday you need to eat and drink. I read and comment 10 hubs per day ( go to my account, click to "help us out, hop some hubs" a green frog logo on yr upper left and side and leave comments on hubs) and answer 5 questions per day (go to explore- answer)
