Will Pinterest or Google + draw more traffic to my HubPages?

Yes. Pintrest from what I've read has a noticeable impact. Social networking is always in ones favor. Social Bookmarking is another avenue as well.

Thank you Anonymous00. I just started a Google plus site, but still learning about Pinterest.

It depends upon the type of content that you are sharing and who your main audience are; Pinterest is great if you have lots of visual content, photos, graphics and images to share and also if your hubs mainly target subjects of interest to women (since that is Pinterest's main demographic).

Google+ on the other hand has been fantastic (second biggest traffic provider) for driving traffic to my hubs (which are more information driven and business related). If you are interested in using G+, it does take a while to build a presence there, but I would recommend joining one of the many excellent G+ communities to begin with and test the water.

Google+ also has the advantage of linking back to your author profile, which will matter over time with search results.

Of course, you could always join both Pinterest and Google+ and see what works for you.

I've written a hub about how to get traffic to websites / hubs that you might find interesting and (hopefully) useful; it's linked from my profile.

Pinterest. Create "Made For Pinterest" images to increase pins (I've written a hub on it). My top hub has nearly 45,000 pins.

Pinterest has helped to generate traffic for me. Beautiful images are, of course, the key to being successful with Pinterest promotion. I have not yet dipped into Google+, but it is something I may look into in the future.

Thank you for the feedback Faith.  I will definitely look into Pinterest although I don't think my hubs have many beautiful images, LOL.

As my hubs are informational and have diagrams explaining or illustrating steps etc, I don't think that Pinterest is useful for me. However, I have joined Google + and am active in a few communities. I have seen a number of hits coming in from Google + (it is small number, but will hopefully grow).

As I hub about what interests me, being active in communities on Google + does not feel like a chore which is how I felt with some other social networking sites.

I agree with the majority, it depends on whether your hubs have loads of beautiful pictures to show off which will determine which is "better".

Robbie, I completely agree - Being part og G+ is a pleasure in and of itself; the fact you can share relevant, useful links there is a bonus, not an end in itself.

I have definitely not experienced this with pinterest. I have gotten some traffic, but not enough to even brag about. So I don't know why some people get a lot more traffic than others, but pinterest doesn't work for everyone. Yes, my content is marketed directly to women since it is for women.

Thank you ZRMoore for the feedback.  I'm hearing that beautiful images are key for Pinterest so maybe there's something there.

Try creating Made for Pinterest images that people both want to pin from your hub, and also get lots of pins and clicks onsite.
